If he wanted to play, would anyone be interested in picking him up?
 
If he'd have just ran with that ball last year instead of trying to thread the needle, his whole season may have ended up differently and he could have retired on top.

Instead, he goes out in probably one of the most pathetic ways a legend has ever left their sport.

Johnny Unitas spent 2 years with the Chargers that were particularly horrible too.

And Oddball got it from a teeshirt that sold very well after Brent decided to un-retire the first time saying "We'll never forget you, Brent".
