After the latest Islamic attack in Paris, Dutch politician Geert Wilders has called Islam (at 1:42 in this video) "an evil ideology".

Saying that the #2 religion of all time, one supported by 1.6 billion people, and endorsed by GW Bush, Obama, and Hillary Clinton, is "evil", seems pretty extreme. However, but Geert seems well-spoken, had record-breaking results in their recent election, and knows what he's talking about after being under police protection for 12 YEARS now from Islamic threats.

Question: do you think Islam is an "evil ideology".

I know it can be destructive, but "evil" might be too harsh of a word? Maybe "not what's best for the world", would be a better way of putting it.

misuse by alqida/ISIS/MB/etc is evil
Is Islam evil where it says to "fight them...until all religion is for Allah..."? That would be like GW Bush fighting the Iraqis until they were all HIS religion (Christianity). That seems almost "evil" to me...what about you?

PS I love Muslims, but do question the Islamic texts (that they say is from god himself - and so therefore is perfect and a good role model for all time of course.)

What's funny is Christianity in many ways has a lot of the same reasoning and mindset.
You are 100% correct - yes, Jesus and Mohammad are 99.999999999999%+ equal in morality.

The after-life (supposedly) is for 99.999999999999999%+ of that Jew's total existence, and common sense says that we should be more concerned about that 99.99999999999999%+ than we are about the mere 0.00000000000000001%. The after-life is well over TRILLIONS of times longer than life on earth, so it's best to judge the morality of a religion/prophet/god by how it treats people (say, ethical, hard-working Jews, in this example) in the after-life rather than how it treats them during this relatively very very very short life on earth. You judge, say, your siblings, generally on their entire lifetime, and not on a mere 10 seconds of their life, obviously.

Some also consider that the "moderate" Muslims steadfast constant refusal to improve the texts that the Jihadists use, and will continue to use forever, to commit their Jihad and other atrocities such as beating women (Q4:34 Shakir), chopping off hands/feet (Q5:33), death to gays, death to anyone who leaves Islam, etc.

Yes, the talking donkey in Christianity has no more court-room level of evidence for it than the flying horse in Islam has.....they also have the same amount of evidence as Zeus, Thor, Wotan, Nanook, Krishna have. We bring forward scientifically-correct things that have a court-room level of evidence for them.
