It was supposed to be all about hopey-changey stuff.
Instead it became an Obama bash when rapper Lupe Fiasco started trashing Obama.
That’s when security threw him off the stage and escorted him from the premises.

Too funny.
Nice party, libs.

The Daily Caller reported:

Rapper Lupe Fiasco was thrown offstage and escorted off the premises of a Washington, D.C. concert hall during a pre-inauguration concert Sunday night, after going on an anti-war, anti-Obama rant, according to concertgoers.

Josh Rogin, a reporter with Foreign Policy magazine, tweeted late Sunday, “Lupe Fiasco just got thrown off stage here at the Hamilton Live after he went on an anti-Obama diatribe mid set.”

“So Lupe played one anti-war song for 30 min and said he didn’t vote for Obama,” he continued, ”and eventually was told to move on to the next song…Lupe refused to move to the next song so a team of security guards came on stage and told him to go.”

Another attendee at the StartUp RockOn event tweeted, “Things going terribly wrong at @lupefiasco performance during#SURO. Kicked off stage, bashing obama…”

There go those extreme right wing terrorists expressing their First Amendment Rights.

Why is saying he didn't vote for Obama, bashing Obama?

Why is playing anti-war songs anti-Obama?

Oh, right, complete and utter devotion is all that is allowed.

Are you denying the man his inalienable right to speak freely?
Would you have complained of this had it been G.W. Bush, or any other Reuplican?
Will you now decide to feed this guy to the lions, or just plainly lynch him?

I think you both read me wrongly.

What a fucking attention whore. There is a time and a place to voice such opinions, but it's just disrespectful to do so at an inauguration concert.

Let me explain things so your small little mind can understand.

**Event coordinators hires performer to entertain audience.

**Performer goes full-retard and pisses audience off with a 30 minute rap diatribe. Not entertaining.

**Event coordinators tell performer's management that performer needs to leave. When the performer refuses to leave, he is Trespassing.

**Can you say that word: Trespassing.

Security then removes performer from the premises. Not the first time a performer pissed off an audience so much that event staff had to call force him off the stage. Jim Morrison did it almost every night and we still call him 'genius'.

Hope that helps you understand these big people concepts of professionalism and trespassing.

when you are hired to do a job, your right to 'speak' is not limitless...

nice fantasy though...

People often use any stage available to get their opinion out. At awards ceremonies, many use their moment in the spotlight to bash Republicans or support Obama. Michelle made an extrodinarily snide comment at a flag ceremony, so she helped set the example. She should have been escorted out for mocking the very event she was attending.

Why would anyone be surprised that someone would take an opportunity to disagree with Obama when this sort of thing has become the norm when it comes to the other side?

And it didn't appear that he bashed Obama, merely was anti-war (considered real positive during the Bush years). I don't think he said anything that was anywhere near as bad as what I've heard from the left in the past. I guess this guy was supposed to be there to praise, not be honest. If a citizen can't share their views with the guy that works for us at an inauguration ceremony, when can he? This isn't some sacred event. It's merely Obama standing there and making us a promise and it's as good of time as any to let it be known what we expect. He hasn't made good on the promises last time and listening to the same crap all over again is frustrating. I am glad the guy spoke up to the king.

I happen to agree. I mean, you are there to celebrate the mans Taking office, if you don't like him. WTF are you doing there.

Who said anyone was surprised or that it was a sacred event?? Pointing out that there have been other people who have been assholes, doesn't change my opinion that it's disrespectful at such an event.
