We have been handed a cache of Allied documents that reveal that the "Build-up" in Calais, France is a diversion. There is no invasion force in Calais and it is not headed up by George Patton.

The real Allied invasion planned for early June probably the 5th or 6th based on the tides will be directed to the beaches of Normandy, France...

No problem, right?

Please, for the love of God, don't tell me American's aren't/weren't taught about Operation Mincemeat?! It's got to be one of the most cunning pieces of disinformation during WWII. The success of this operation saw huge chunks of German troops removed from Normandy.

I remember spending spellbound history lessons listening to this real-life thriller.
