seems there is a huge gap between the rich and poor as this quote states "outrage over a wide rich-poor gap and the corruption and privileges that have enriched the elite" only thing is this is in China. I would also like to see a dual minimum wage plan. Keep minimum wage rates the same for small employers with less than 50 employees. Then have a second minimum for larger employers of say $11.75/hr after the first year of employment. Because that gets workers above poverty & off of government dole. Unlike small business or home office office needing a staffer to sit around all day waiting in case a customer shows, surfing the web or chatting with friends, big business gets more than their monies worth out of their employees. A big box retailer has their workers humping from the time they show up until they leave. We don't need to be subsidizing them.

Currently government is subsidizing payrolls of large corporations creating a nation of government Dependants. Republicans are the ones who grew the entitlement state. The only jobs or business that needs subsidizing are ones that can be exported. Domestic sales clerks, cashiers, burger flippers, service industry jobs etc can't be exported thus don't need subsidies.

Manufacturing & farming etc is where the subsidies should be.

Yes - I have seen 2 big worker strikes at Wal-Mart last month. If republicans keep their shit up unions will take this country over again just like last time. Government can & should protect workers rights. Because if government fails to protect workers as they have been, it will be all over & union thugs will take over.

What they fail to realize is that cashier could be an invester or a customer of theirs if she made enough money but instead she is on the government dole raising their taxes & debt. I saw what he did in Massachusetts, what he did with his business, with companies he took over & wrecked, what he said in every debate & read his plan. Romney's dad George Romney blew-up Mortgage Backed Securities market back in 1970 when he ran the HUD program. His grandfather defected to Mexico to avoid our laws. Mitt Romney also fake donated his money to the Mormon church to avoid paying taxes. He just used the church to park the money in a charitable remainder trust to avoid taxes & all lawsuits. He is a greedy asshole who has never given to anyone. He only promises & sets up tax shelters that look like charities.

There is a wide gap between the rich and poor in socialist Europe and Latin America as well as extremes as in China, Russia, North Korea, and Cuba. In these countries, there is a ruling, wealthy elite and then masses who are content that everything is "fair." In all of these countries, there is no Middle Class or upward mobility (re: Opportunity). Why would the USA want to go in that direction? Attacking the USA on income inequality under the guise that it will help the Middle Class, is the core basis for destroying the Middle Class. As per JFK, a rising tide raises all ships. We need to move in that direction and not fall prey to the wolf in sheep's cloth trying to help us.
