Co-signing a student loan means you are responsible for it, just like any other loan.

It is virtually impossible for a student loan to be forgiven. Taxes are forgiven after seven years.

You are, as usual, wrong. The IRS rule is that taxes are forgiven after 10 years after the IRS assess them. If you don't file a tax return the debt is never forgiven. Even if you file the return and get the tax assessed there are a number of ways the IRS can actually extend the time they have to collect the debt. During that 10 year period the IRS can garnish your wages, seize your property, and even file a criminal case against you. On top of that, the interest penalties are assessed each year and you even have to pay interest on the interest. That keeps the IRS coming after you even if the principle debt is forgiven.

That might not meet your definition of violence, but you think the tea Party is a bunch of terrorists, and that the TSA prevents terrorist attacks.

The republicians dont want this they expect the poor to work for a low wage and make them richer.
