In the situation, everything points toward Iran signing almost any deal that could result from current discussions. With one stroke, they will divide America twice. The first is from Israel, given the recent speech in Congress and the implicit position it manifested. The second division is in the US itself, with the discord and debate ensuing from the famous letter.

With so many of those whom Iran knows to be its opponents so against the agreement, there must be something advantageous to Iran in it, the Mullahs would have to conclude. What's more, if it lifts even a little the present restrictions their economy has to function under, the whole affair becomes the veritable 'no-brainer'.

I'm fairly certain this is not what the parties against the deal had in mind, but it would seem to be what they have achieved. They have done just about all they could to get Tehran to agree with Washington.

I don't think the Iranians care about our local politics or the Israelis.

What the Iranians want is European, Russian and CHinese investment and trade. agreeing to a largely meaningless limit on a nuclear program will get them that.

That second division is also revealed in the latest Gallup poll regarding how Americans view Netanyahu:
"Conducted between March 5-8, the new poll shows Netanyahu's favorable rating fell seven points (to 38 percent), while his unfavorable numbers jumped by five percentage points (to 29 percent) in comparison to the same poll Gallup conducted from February 8-11."
Possibly, if more Americans were aware of how Israel's concern with Iranian nuclear ambitions didn't begin until after Saddam was driven from Kuwait in '91, they would divide a third time over whether to continue an eternal war of terror across the Middle East and Eurasia that makes a small percentage of humanity filthy rich (Bibi, Obama, and Iranian elites) while consigning millions of innocent human beings to multi-generational misery?
