Why we support Ron Paul.

well those that have an axe to grind will never move past this but there are those out there that are on the fence on this issue and I want to present the other side. I think it was a horrible mistake to let his name be used in that way. I am sure he does too. I just want enough people to hear his message so that we can get a new movement going.

I m obciously not a RP supporterbut it does appear to me that there is some kind of conspiracy to ignore RP support. I see this is the MSM, and I see it in the way the GOP seems to want to make RP outy to be come kind of radical.

The GOP is one screwed up party.

But if RP was potus and actually took on botht he FED and the military industrial complex?

they'd kill him.

Just like they did JFK

For EXACTLY the same reasons, I note.
If that happens, then it will only pave the way for the pvsi

Come on. Right wingers support Ron Paul because of what it says in his newsletters.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9hPR5jnjtLo]GOD DAMN AMERICA Rev Jeremiah Wright, Farrakhan & Obama - YouTube[/ame]

Listen to what he's saying.

While I think we did the right thing bombing Hiroshima and Nagasaki (brought an end to Japanese terrorism in Asia), we did support state sponsored terrorism in South Africa, not something we can deny.

Just the fact that Wright says "God Damn America" is enough for the right wing. If you listen to what he is saying in context, it suddenly has a different meaning. The context being if you (meaning this country) go against the Bible you will be damned, a message ALL conservatives seem to agree with. If he were white and saying that, right wingers would be nodding heads in approval.

And if he hated this country so much, why did he join the Marines for six years during the Vietnam war and earn three White House Commendations? He wasn't even drafted. He enlisted. And he wasn't being "looked for", like Bush.

His "sin" was that he knew Obama. That "Socialist Communist Fascist boy-king man-child Kenyan Muslim Mau Mau".

One thing about the right. When they hate, they hate. They really, really hate.

Stop giving obama's racist preacher a pass you fucking troll

Shouldn't you be spewing this nonsense on the conspiracy forum, nutbag?

I know why right wingers support Ron Paul. I read it in his newsletter.

Is there something wrong with a person that wants to keep the Federal government within the restraints of the Constitution?

No.

But there is something wrong with a person who doesn’t want to subject state and local governments to those same Constitutional restraints.

I am beginning to see that some people on this board are deliberately dishonest. Ron Paul never said he wanted to repeal the civil rights act. He said he wouldn't have voted for it as it was written. There is a HUGE difference.

Ron Paul is a very nice old man and sincere in his beliefs

His problem is he can't break from strict libertarianism. There are some issues where libertarianism makes sense. Others where you have to be bat shit crazy to think like a libertarian. Paul's views on foreign policy are just plain crazy and prevent him from being taken seriously

We are not supposed to be fighting wars on an offensive basis. That's all he is trying to stop. We were never meant to occupy the world. We can still maintain our national defense without having 900 military bases around the world.
