Why we need smart and educated leaders.

1. Economics: The US has to compete with the rest of the world. No way around it. We need leaders who are thoughtful and able to negotiate deals and treaties that are good for the country. Many times, they are negotiating with the best minds the other country has to offer.

2. Military: The US was attacked on 9/11. It took less than a few dozen people to get the man behind that attack. Far fewer than the many, many tens of thousands who died and were crippled from attacking two countries and not getting Bin Laden.

3. Science and Technology: We need leaders who will promote science and technology. Without those, no one anywhere could possibly say we would be "world leaders"?

4. America's infra structure: Almost 70,000 bridges and overpasses in America are in need of serious maintenance or they could become dangerous according to a report released Wednesday by Transportation for America. And that's just bridges.

5. Health Care: The CEO of United Health received $744,232,068.00 in stock options. Separate from his regular salary of many millions. The number one cause of bankruptcies is "medical bills". We need leaders who will fight these companies.

Id love to know how letting people keep more of their money destroyed the middle class.

And no, Obama didn't cut taxes. They maintained the current rates. That's not a cut. That just keeps the Status Quo.

Now if we could see some real tax cuts and some real spending cuts we would see this economy explode.
