I have read many of these posts, and it seems that some people do not get the concept of LEGAL immigration versus ILLEGAL immigration.

LEGAL immigrants work hard to obtain and maintain their citizenship in this country.
They work AND pay taxes to contribute to our economy and social service programs, and are usually too proud to accept the help!

ILLEGAL immigrants are usually here on stolen identities, or sharing one social security number that one family member obtains, for the whole family.
They do NOT as such, pay taxes and contribute to our social service programs, but they use them and take our tax dollars and if they cry discrimination, they usually win and get their way...even though they are breaking our laws and the average poor, low socio-economic white person would not as easily obtain these services or have a law suit.
They expect our hard work to pay for them to have food, education, housing, provide interpreters for their family everywhere they go; including our hospitals and public schools, but do NOT contribute monies to pay for these services the way we do....yet, my daughter-in-law, a white girl in her 20s making 2.85 / hr plus tips as a waitress cant get medicaid because she makes too much money.

Yes, this country was built on immigrants....whom were hard working, law abiding, and did not expect that others should support them.

If you want to be here, be legal, follow the laws as we have to do...learn the language...(because we speak ENGLISH), and PAY TAXES.

No, what most don't get is the fact that one is not 'illegal' until such time as he has been found guilty in a court of law of entering the country absent authorization.

What most don't get is that all persons are entitled to the right of due process of the law, including those undocumented (Plyler v. Doe).

And what most don't get is that absent due process, one cannot assume an undocumented immigrant is 'illegal' and subject him to punitive measures until he has been afforded that due process.

" IF " a non-citizen enters this country without going through the proper "legal" process to do so, that person is in the U.S. illegally. " IF " a non-citizen enters this country with the intent to live and work here, again without going through the "legal" process to do so, that person is an "illegal immigrant". " IF " a person can not verify citizenship, then that person is in this country "illegally". Absent a "visa" of some type to be here as a non-citizen, and without permission, a person is an "illegal", in this country "illegally". We have laws that outline what a citizen and a non-citizen is. We also have requirements that must be met in order to be a citizen. We have laws that prevent "illegal immigration". Yes, due process is afforded everyone, but being here "illegally" does NOT change whether one has their day in court or not.

Doesn't change the fact that if one enters this country without permission of our government they are here illegally and thus an illegal alien any more or less so that if one kills someone convicted or not they are a murderer. Keep spinning around and around it's fun to watch. Oh, and there's no such thing as an undocumented.

these bleeding hearts who says it's only COMPASSIONTE to give away our country to all these Illegal Invaders walking into our country. Why even HAVE laws on this, just tear down that fence and SEND out invitations, come one come all

this will be our doom. and they didn't even have to FIRE a shot

Why don't these bleeding hearts have any compassion for the rightful citizens of this country who have lost their jobs to illegal aliens or had their wages reduced, been victims of their crimes (including ID theft) and had their taxes go thru the roof paying for their social costs? Misplaced compassion indeed!

because, they wouldn't be seen as the MOST caring and compassionate in the country. so instead of standing up FOR US legal citizens, they stand up for THE ILLEGALS. Look at Obama and his Merry band of traitor Democrats. They care more about them become CITIZENS than you or me

Doesn't matter anymore. Obama and the traitors in the Democrat party has SOLD us out to every third world country out there. Now let a citizen criticize the Illegal immigration problem, they get BEAT DOWN, called all kinds of names like, xenophobe, etc... Obama promised TRANSFORMATION and you voted it...way to look out for US

Unchecked immigration is destroying our nation by undermining and overrunning the very institution that was built to harbor immigrants through the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution…

Don’t call it compassion when the president, elected officials or a
candidate takes a stand that illegal immigrants deserve a pass to stay in this country and receive citizenship, let alone resident status. It is approval of America’s demise; an uncontrolled decimation of what the Founders established in the new world expressly to provide free exercise of faith, industry and speech.

What our forefathers pioneered was a new nation steeped in the acceptance of immigrants who wanted one thing—to escape the ancient order of tyranny. And they came from many countries to enjoy the newfound freedom that was available nowhere else in the world.

Today, the concept of true freedom to follow one’s individual faith and entrepreneurship is still only possible in one place, America, though that distinction is rapidly disappearing given the growth of theocracies and autocracies around the rest of the globe, and the importation of those liberty-crushing ideals on the back of illegal and state-sponsored immigration. The United States is also losing that exceptionalism due to the internal stresses brought about by fractional factionalists pressuring government for equality that is already in effect.

The reckless concept that special populations deserve special rights goes beyond the complete equality institutionalized by the Declaration of Independence from the beginning of this nation. It is creating privileged classes that oppress the majority of others who differ in opinions and lifestyles.

Why the new form of immigration is unacceptable is that it counters how and why America embraced immigrants over the generations. Immigration was encouraged to fill out the lands with productive individuals who purposefully left their past behind. They came with little or nothing, dreaming of a new life for their families, one that secured liberty from the old regime of oppression. My own forebears fled the pogroms of Russia, intent on basking in the freedom of America, not hauling along the tyranny of religious and antiquated European social prejudice.

all of it here:

Just because a bank robber has not been apprehended and hauled in to a court does not mean he has not committed a crime and is not a criminal..The minute he crosses the bordered without papers he is committing the crime of illegal entry...That is way when they are caught they are taken back the the border and dumped without a trial...
