Why the UK Suddenly Is Suffering from a Physician Shortage

This is what happens when conservatives run things.

Moron.....this is what happens when a country turns socialist.....and it isn't going to get better until you get rid of socialism....

Erm... Conservative are capitalists. They're the ones who have created this perfect storm. They've sold contracts to private companies, costing the tax payer millions, cutting jobs that would otherwise be financed by the money private companies are now reaping in profits.

The NHS is dying because it's being turned into a capitalist endevour.

Sorry....the NHS is dying because there is no accountability, it wastes money, and provides lousy service to those most in need.........

Capitalism creates better products all around......everything you see that you enjoy, that you can afford, is due to capitalism.....that you guys fail to see that competition is the way to improve healthcare, just like everything else, shows you have no understanding of human nature or economics....

Every where I look I see cell phones, in the hands of the richest to the poorest.....and they are faster, cheaper and better than they were before.......dittos cars, t.v.s everything......and yet you guys think having bureaucrats who have no incentive to improve the system are the best at running it? That is funny.

The best service you are going to get is in the elective, plastic surgery sector of the medical profession. Why? Because insurance won't cover a lot of it, so they have to actually price it realistically, and they have to constantly improve their techniques to provide better service to their customers.......

If the bold were true, neither banks nor governments would still be in existance. In fact that's true of most organisations.
NHS ranked 'number one' health system

In fact its a bollox claim. The NHS is the most efficient in the world. The US system isnt even in the top 10.

There's a lot wrong with the NHS and indeed this austerity drive is breaking it, but it's still preferable to the American system.

In truth, it's fantastic and second to none in terms of dealing with emergency treatment, but it's long term care is abismal. But as I say, still better than the American system, I've experience of both.
