‘Senate Republican leaders hoped to bring the measure to the Senate floor for a vote this coming week. But the bill is on life support after Senator John McCain, the unpredictable Arizona Republican whose dramatic “no” vote killed the previous repeal effort, announced on Friday that he could not “in good conscience” vote for the bill. He joined Senator Rand Paul, Republican of Kentucky, in opposition — and Senator Susan Collins, Republican of Maine, is leaning hard toward no.

The three would be enough to doom the bill.'

The reason why Republicans are finding it impossible to replace the ACA is because the Act is Republican healthcare reform.

Indeed, Paul Ryan’s ‘replacement’ for Medicare is in essence the ACA: the government provides funds for seniors to purchase policies from private insurers.

The right’s hostility toward the ACA has nothing to do with the merits of the Act and everything to do with conservatives’ unwarranted hatred of President Obama.

This has nothing to do with health and everything to do with McCain working on behalf of his employer, George.

You don't see how a man just diagnosed with brain cancer might not want to vote to deny his constituents with healthcare?

That man doesn't want for healthcare. And could give a shit if you have it or not. Before or after diagnosis, he'll prove his loyalty to Soros and forsake anyone not handing him money. Sorry you were fooled by a politician. They're usually so trustworthy.....

As always, once an entitlement is created it is almost impossible to remove.

John McCain will likely be dead this time next year. He doesn't need to "prove his loyalty" to anyone.

McCain is a serial back stabber. He stabbed Bush in the back every chance he got and Trump has about 20 McCain knife wounds already. Also your previous post earns zero points for honesty.

The reason the ACA has to be replaced is that it does nothing to make health care affordable which is obvious as insurers continue to pull out of the exchanges and policy premiums continue to skyrocket. Do we want 50% of the Federal budget going to healthcare? That is the trajectory the ACA puts us on.

Trump's Treasury Secretary and Kushner have ties to George Soros.

The reason for the skyrocketing rates and companies pulling out are because Trump plays games with payments to insurance companies. He refuses to commit to making the payments and Congress refuses to do it. Republicans are responsible. Why don't you quit lying.
