It's going to be pretty difficult to sell Obama as anything other than a champion of women's rights, with this video floating around.

Lilly Ledbetter released the following statement responding to the Romney campaign’s refusal to say whether Mitt Romney supported the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Restoration Act on a conference call this morning. Read it and then share with your friends.
"I was shocked and disappointed to hear that Mitt Romney is not willing to stand up for women and their families. If he is truly concerned about women in this economy, he wouldn’t have to take time to ‘think’ about whether he supports the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act. This Act not only ensures women have the tools to get equal pay for equal work, but it means their families will be better served also. Women earn just 77 cents to every dollar that men earn for the same job, which is why President Obama took decisive action and made this the first bill that he signed when he took office. Women should have the ability to take their bosses to court to get the same pay as their male coworkers. Anyone who wants to be President of the United States shouldn’t have to think about whether they support pursuing every possible avenue to ensuring women get the same pay for the same work as men. Our economic security depends on it."

It's going to be pretty difficult to sell Obama as anything other than a champion of women's rights, with this video floating around.

"Nearly 1 million [women] have become unemployed as a result of Obama's policies," she said during a conference call with reporters. "That's 92 percent of the jobs lost while Barack Obama has been president are jobs that women have lost."

The numbers come from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, which reports there are 740,000 fewer nonfarm employees now than in January 2009 when Obama took office. The data also show that there are 683,000 women who lost their jobs in that time. By these counts, the 92 percent figure is accurate. It's also accurate to note that many more women who lost their jobs have found new ones.

.

Of COURSE the GOP can accuse Obama of abandoning women, are you KIDDING?

It doesn't have to be TRUE, of course, but we're talking POLITICS here. Honesty is absolutely optional, say whatever it takes to win, lie your ass off. Make shit up as needed. Just win, baby. Spin, divert, distort, and when when your back is to the wall, flat-out lie. Some people will actually BELIEVE YOU.

Best part is, it doesn't matter which party you belong to! How cool is THAT!

Obama Drops the Hammer on Mitt Romney

Romney’s 92% statistic is based on a severe cherry picking of the jobs data, but the AP fact checker pointed out something interesting, “Women were more heavily represented in jobs that suffered in the recession’s later months and beyond, as revenue-strapped state and local governments laid off teachers and cut other public-sector workers.”

The hypocrisy is that while Romney claims Obama has cost women their jobs, the policy that actually caused the job losses for women at the state level has been endorsed by Mitt Romney. The presumed Republican nominee is trying to have it both ways. While he embraces Republicans in states like Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin whose policies caused many of the layoffs among women, he is trying to blame Obama for the fact that those same women have lost their jobs.

The strategy that Romney is using is coming straight out of Karl Rove’s playbook. He is making up simple bogus statistics, while at the same time running a relentlessly negative campaign against President Obama. If all of this sounds familiar, it should. The 2004 Bush reelection campaign used the same tactics against John Kerry.

Here's another example of Barry Hussein "caring about women". When he was Illinois state senator the sickiningly cruel procedure of killing full term infants by stabbing them in the back of the head was outlawed. Barry used all his limited legal skills and substantial political muscle to replace the partial birth abortion procedure with negligent homicide. In a brilliant stroke of genius a Chicago hospital decided to induce premature delivery and simply left the infants on a cold table to cry and die. A janitor found a living infant in the trash and gave it to a nurse who blew the whistle on the procedure and Barry made sure she was fired and the killing would go on. Way to go Mr. "O" You showed how much you cared for predominantly Black women in Chicago by making sure they would still be able to hire someone to kill their full term infants.

You offered no proof that Romney is lying.

So, you're doing nothing but screeching "Nuh-UHH!!", exactly as I said.

No. I'm really not. But there's a word for what you're doing, by attributing behaviors to me that aren't real.

Lying.

holy smokes...so the gop is now abandoning women..?

Obamabots are pathetic in their worship of this man

Most women don't WANT the Government taking CARE of them..

Part of the video title say's equal pay for all workers Really so does that mean the person who does the half asses job gets equal pay to the person who does outstanding work?

well of course in liberal la la land

That would be a very nice idea if everyone was equal but there not this is hard concept for some to grasp but some people are better than other's and do deserve higher pay.

One would have to belive that all humans are individuals with thier own set of dreams, goals...the Founders knew this as they gave us what they did.

We now have people that want to destroy it, because they refuse to accept the individual for thier Group mentality.
