Living in Nevada, my immediate response is to ask why they’re working on the streets and not in a clean, well-regulated brothel?

But I do agree that the best way to “clean this up” is to show the faces of the Johns. Let the whole world know what they’re doing. See how their friends and families react.

It isn't legal in Vegas, for one, and it is the whores and their presence that generates most of the crime associated with prostitution, plus the 'johns' are the out-of-towners that make up Vega's customer base for the other main businesses and their tax base. Much easier to round up the hookers as well, easier to entrap them and get convictions.

Its one of those strange quirks of the Universe that these women couldn't give it away, but somehow someone actually will pay them.

A lot of people just get one side to things they have never ever actually met prostitutes or strippers or got to know them ... if they did they would realize they are victims and feel sorry for them. Like 98% of them want to get out of it but can't. Like 98% of them have mental problems and most were abused growing up. A lot of them are forced into this by pimps.

They often have no other alternative to make a living which I blame on our capitalist society a socialist society would give these women more of a chance in life. A minimum wage job won't give them a living wage especially if they have kids. A lot of them have learning problems and have problems getting fired even at minimum wage jobs. I knew one who tried her hardest to leave the lifestyle, but she kept getting fired at all the minimum wage jobs she applied for and employers called her too stupid and dumb to do the job. She was a single mother
with mouths to feed she had to make a living somehow or starve to death.

A lot of women from Europe are trafficked in and told if they don't stay and do what their captives want they go back to their country. A lot of cops are in on it too to keep quiet and help out the bad guys. I knew one strip club/ brothel that had police officers at the place who were there not to prevent prostitution but to protect the bad guys. I heard one girl called the police to stop them from forcing her to having paid sex, cops came and beat her up to a bloody pulb.

... but people often don't see this side of happens just blame them call them awful women.

Why show the prostitutes and not their customers? Because that's for the most part what our society does, it's protects men, their activities & reputations, even when they're in the wrong.

I NEVER said it was legal in Vegas! Both Clark and Washoe County do not allow legal prostition- dates back to the days when the military first wanted to open bases there.

There is prostitution here, much of it provided to high rollers by the hotels. Also, the police in Las Vegas City turn a blind eye to it as long as it's "tasteful."
