First, why should anyone be allowed to compete unless they have proven they have their own liability and insurance. I can't even coach little kids without multiple clearances and so forth. For my career, i have to have documentation on liability and so forth. She made good money. If she choose not to purchase insurance, then her estate should pay the balance. It shouldnt be up to the US and taxpayers to absorb that cost.
