Why should anyone stay in the USA???

Yes every wealthy person who hates this country because they dont like paying taxes should leave.

PLEASE PLEASE leave

Good question. Why stay in a country dominated by the most socialist/marxist/redistributing government we've ever had? I'm sure the Obama are getting ready with the massive land confiscation and redistribution plan any day now, so you'd better hurry, the boat is leaving tomorrow.

Or it could just be another scare tactic the 1%er's are using.

Remember on voting day, Romney is the 1%.

Romney is the 1%.

So is Obama.

Good point.

Earnings? Yes the President is in the top 1%. Wealth? I don't know.

How Much Money Does It Take To Be In The Top 1% of Wealth and Net Worth in the United States

Obama is 1% but does not scream for less taxes on him.

Opposing a tax hike is not screaming for less taxes. it's wanting taxes to stay where they are.

Big difference.

And why don't you want people like Alec Baldwin to leave after all he hates America because he doesn't agree with free elections unless the guy he likes wins.

So some ungrateful, greedy, money-grubbing cocksuckers want to leave the US to save a few bucks?

Fuck 'em.

This is just the kind of thing that makes the arguement for why concentration of too much wealth in the hands of too few people is bad policy.

That's why they should ALL leave! Let's see how many jobs the lazy ass poor create.

The entire tax base should up and start supporting another country with more opportunity than this one.

Every person on the ballot is the 1%.

Romney embodies "the poor have a safty net, so I don't much worry about them" additude that defines the worst of the 1%. It will be his Albatrose.

Yes, take your wealth and leave the country. Since this will cause even more federal deficit spending, since the top earners pay a large chunk of the pie chart, the gubmint can raise the fare on the rest of us which will stimulate massive growth and the country will suddenly rebound into a utopia.

The economically inept should drink a tall glass of STFU. It actually amazes me that people this clueless would put such crossed eyed nonsense down in "ink".

Holy hell, we're fucked.

The top-earning 1% of US taxpayers are Leaving the USA at the highest rate in history. (Source: INS/Census Bureau & Zogby International estimates)
Tick - Tick - Tick / The Economy Bomb

Why are the people that are paying most of the tax bill leaving?

So what does that mean to the rest of us?

It's attractive for them to stay here only if they can preserve their wealth. Investing it to keep it and grow it is now too risky. If they want to finance a young entrepreneur with good ideas, it now costs about a $million just to create a new IPO. Not so in China or other markets, and new ideas are fleeing largely because of recent regulations - Sarbanes-Oxley. That's part of the reason that Face book’s IPO is getting such coverage. But to Face book a $million is less than peanuts. These wealthy people leaving have very little "earned income" almost all of it being "unearned" income or earnings from capital gains and dividends. But Obama has warned that those are going to be taxed at the same levels as ordinary individual earned income, a 100% increase. That is what he has called for.

They really don't need to live in America to have a really good life. As a matter of fact, take an elderly person like me for instance. I never got rich, but I could live like a wealthy person in Uruguay or Mexico, in an American colony. Once they have their kids raised (assuming they have any) they can better keep their wealth intact, or even grow it, by leaving America. I’m not leaving because even the cost of moving is more than I can afford, but that type of limiting factor doesn’t exist for the very wealthy.

The same flight is seen in states like California, New Jersey, and New York, in which case wealthy people can move across state lines to friendlier, less punitive, economic conditions. And when they go they take their contributions to charity which is considerable. Policies to make things fairer by punishing the wealthy under the rubric of the zero-sum-game are killing the economy, jobs creation, and opportunities for the poor. Those new IPOs that were issued in China and Europe represented jobs, even whole new industries that would’ve been created here have gone to China and Europe instead.

When the companies leave, they generally take their key personnel with them. That means even MORE of the tax base goes.

It has to happen this way, it's best.

So, James Cameron, colossal libtard and overall numbnut, is moving to avoid losing any of his precious money?

That's rich...

Couldn't care less what his attitude is, he supports the same tax plan as Obama and Bush.

Hence why i don't support any of them.

Actually, no.... he's moving because he really loves NZ. I can see why... it's a beautiful country. Would I live there? No. But it's beautiful. So is Australia. I really like Australia. If I wasn't an American - I would definitely want to be an Aussie.

If you want to shrink something, tax it more.
If you want to grow something, tax it less.
America is becoming poorer and poorer because of Liberal economic policies. Trouble is for people who can't connect the dots, or are eaten up with jealousy, envy, or resentment because someone else is perceived as doing better than they, their champions will purchase their support by killing the golden goose of creative wealth.

So what was it that grew in response to the tax cuts in the 2000's?

Outsourced jobs is not a good answer.

So James Cameron came here for the opportunities this country offered and is leaving because those opportunities are no longer available here.

Outsourced jobs is a very good answer for those libs who want businesses to leave the US anyway.

Voodoo Pubs have almost ruined the country, are the most hypocritical "super patriots" ever, and poison the airwaves with negative, selfish BS. See sig.
Hoping for your recovery, Pub dupes. I could care less where some Canadian wants to live. BTW, the min wage in NZ is $13, and in Oz it's $15. He's going to leave behind snarling idiot Pubs and dupes if anything. LOL!
