Why Romney Really Lost

How 'bout because the GOP base these days is mainly wingnut idiots like the OP?

Whatever the reason, one thing's for sure:

4 more years.

:D

The problem with Mitt Romney wasn't Mitt Romney. It was the expectations of GOP voters. Some of them refuse to vote for anything other than someone who fits their beliefs exactly. Democrat voters simply want a warm body that delivers the goods.

you lying sack of shit. You motherfucking partisan hack. I watched numerous amounts of people just like you who got in line behind Romney because he was anyone But Obama.

There are different kinds of Democrats. There are Democrats that vote for stuff, Democrats that vote because they hate or even fear the GOP, and Democrats that vote because that's all they've ever done. It doesn't take much to get them to vote for Democrats, just give them a reason. Any reason. A reason they know is a lie. They still vote Democrat.

and fuck you

For Blacks he gave them Tryvan Martin. Enough said about that.
You are a disgusting pile of shit.

The rest of your post is utter bullshit and can be ignored. Go fuck yourself troll.

Yes, big bad government is really in there helping em,,, they won't get any power until Thanksgiving.. Thanks big bad government. If the Alabama crews had been allowed to help they'd have their power NOW.. Enjoy
This is a perfect illustration of the problem with the CON$ervoFascist Brotherhood! Once they sink their teeth into a GOP scripted lie, they never let go no matter how many times the lie is debunked!!!!

Alabama non-union utility workers not turned away, Christie says ‹ Cliffview Pilot

Gov. Christie today put to bed the ghost story that non-union Alabama utility workers were turned away.

Christie said he spoke to utility and union officials today and that a worker from Alabama called from Roanoke, Va., and was given bad advice. That person, in turn, spoke to a local news outlet there and the story mushroomed.

So your saying politicians and union leaders don't lie........hahaha

Is it possible that the numbers-crunchers high up in the Romney campaign really had no idea President Obama might win? A report Thursday by CBS News says that senior Romney aides were utterly “shellshocked” Tuesday night when they lost one swing state after another.

There’s a chance that the Romney team wasn’t all that naïve; that the campaign just doesn’t want to admit it was bluffing to the press, the big donors, and possibly the candidate himself. But if the report is accurate, it indicates that Romneyworld was encased in the same bubble surrounding Fox News and so much of the Republican party for the last year, unable to receive messages from reality.

Here's another theory:

WHEN YOU THINK CAPITALISM = RUBE-GULLING, THIS IS WHAT YOU GET

I'm amused to see Ben Howe at RedState talking about the failure of Mitt Romney's get-out-the-vote operation this way:

Campaign Sources: The Romney Campaign was a Consultant Con Job
...So what caused the breakdown and why didn't it get fixed in time? Well according to sources who worked closely with the program, the blame is at the feet of consultants.

Specifically Targeted Victory, FLS Connect, and The Stevens and Schriefer Group....

They say that the truth is the consultants essentially used the Romney campaign as a money making scheme, forcing employees to spin false data as truth in order to paint a rosy picture of a successful campaign as a form of job security.

Zac Moffatt, Digital Director for the Romney campaign, was specifically named as having "built a nest egg for himself and co-founder of Targeted Victory, Mike Beach" ...

What did we see in the financial crisis? Mortgages being sold to people who clearly couldn't afford them. Terrible mortgages sliced and diced and repackaged as top-quality securities, sold by firms that new how awful those securities were and were betting against them.

In modern America, this is the spirit of capitalism. It's not Randian-heroic. It's not "build a better mousetrap and the world will beat a path to your door." Nobody gives a crap about the mousetrap's ability to catch mice. Nobody takes pride in the quality of the product, even if a well-made product would have been profitable. Pride is derived only from pulling a fast one and cashing in. Capitalism is a zero-sum war.

If you think that way, eventually you're going to screw your own kind, because you can't imagine bothering to make a better product, even when your kind are the clients.

In the end, though....

Romney and everyone on the GOP side under-estimated Obama...again. And they over-estimated Romney. It wasn't a fair fight. It was never ever neck in neck. When all of the smoke settled, Obama simply beat Romney.

While all of the pundits on both sides ginned up pre-election narrative after narrative, Obama and his campaign was focused on identifying voters, registering them and getting them to vote. The Romney team lived in a bubble and never thought it was possible for them to lose until they lost. Hubris magnified.

It's not a surprise that our nation's demographics shifted...The shift began in the late 80s with projections of larger populations of Latinos, Hispanics and Cuban-Americans. Astute business people know this. As a businessman, Romney failed at business 101: know the market. It's not enough to trash the other product. New Coke won the taste against Pepsi. We know how they worked out.

Obama knew the market. He made no assumptions about who would or wouldn't turn out. He went after every possible voter. Romney relied on one segment of the population and insulted everyone else. Obama used data and leveraged his grassroots operation to turn out the vote while Romney's people dismissed data to stay in never never land.

Romney didn't prepare to win. He prepared to lose but just didn't know it. He thought all he had to do was show up, play by his own rules, put his name on the ballot, wink at voter ID laws, and he would win the White House.
