Why not a huge tax cut for the middle class

Although I never subscribed to it...I am changing my way of thinking....class division is growing and is acceptable now in america.

Well that's a real shame because America is one of the few places on the planet where there isn't any class division. We're all endowed with the same inalienable rights and liberty to ascend to whatever class we want to be in. Leftists want you to succumb to class warfare rhetoric in order to usher in Socialism. You see, that's how Socialism is promoted and how it gained popularity across Europe and Asia. They didn't have freedom like we do in America, they had kings and oligarchs. People were born into their class and that's where they remained until they died and where their children remained. In that environment, Socialism appears hopeful and desirable.

Whenever you understand that anyone in America has the liberty and freedom to be anything they want to be and can obtain any level of wealth they desire, there is no need for Socialism. That's why the Left is so adamant about promoting their class warfare rhetoric. It's really the only hope Socialism has of succeeding in America. Of course, it won't succeed because it never has and never will. It's the most failed economic system in the history of mankind and usually ends up culminating in hideous atrocity. But we live in a society full of spoiled nitwits who've read Marx and Chomsky and think they know it all.

Not hate...just recognizing that this nation is divided by class and more and more people are recognizing this. So be it. It is not something unacceptable.

Where is socialism in america? There is class division. Always has been. No shame in stating the truth. I worked hard and operated my own business. I don't need billions of dollars. They can have all their money. But I love calling out the faults in my country. Its patriotic to do so.

Do you think getting or being rich is a 'fault' in this country? I don't know what you mean, what faults are you referring to?

No there hasn't been. You are not confined to any class. A dirt-poor, sexually abused black girl who grew up in a tar-paper shack in rural Mississippi, became the richest woman in America in less than 30 years. Oprah Winfrey. There are countless stories like this all throughout American history. The only thing that confines you to your class is what's between your two ears.

You have been brainwashed to believe there is class division. The Left can't promote their Socialist agenda unless they get you to buy into that thinking, which you seem to have done. To me, that's sad and it's a shame. You've been duped and you don't even realize it.

The middle class is asked to take the brunt of things while the rich laugh all the way to the bank....and we are supposed to live America. Laughable. Truly laughable.

That's why Bill Clinton promised a middle class tax cut in 1992.
Than he raised taxes on everyone.
Screwed them middle classers, eh?

Again, what in america is socialist? You throw the term around yet haven't provided an example. America is divided by race, class, religion, socioeconomic class, region,...and on and on. It is divided in many more ways than it will ever be united. Always has been. We are in fact a massively divided nation. That is the defining characteristic.

It matters not the party. I view it as more a plutocracy than anything that resembles socialist. But I tolerate it.

I didn't say America was socialist. That's clearly the system the Left wants to move us to. In order to do that, they need for people like you to believe we're a society of class division. We're not and we never have been. We're not divided by race. It's against the law... see Civil Rights Act of 1964. We're not divided by religion... See the First Amendment. All the others are imaginary distinctions as well. The Left has done a great job brainwashing you.

Our defining characteristic is that we are free people who are endowed with inalienable rights from our Creator. That's why so many people want to come here.
