Gun control of any kind is inherently illegal in a democratic republic.
Since the source of all authority in a democratic republic is individual inherent rights, then if individuals could be prevented from having guns, individuals could not authorize government employees to be armed, so then the police and military could not have guns.

What allowed the fascists to take over in Germany is that the Weimar Republic implemented gun control, thus allowing only the SA to be armed, due to their veterans and marksmanship exemption.
So then all the political idealists, like the Spartacus League, the socialists, liberals, anarchists, and idealists, where all easily murdered by the fascists.
That left Hitler in power, and once he had totally wiped out the opposition, he no longer needed gun control.

Gun control of any kind is always contradictory to a democratic republic, and always results in a dictatorship.

Okay, let's use cars as the example. Cars are regulated, licensed and tracked. Do you want all guns under the same umbrella? There was a time when Cars were not regulated. Granted, there were few of them but those that were operated were death traps for not only people around them but people in them. It took Government Regulations to force the auto industry to even change from something as simple as vacuum windshield wipers to electric windshield wipers. The same goes for seat belts that it's pretty well an accepted standard that seat belts save lives of people in and out of the cars. The Automobiles are extremely regulated. Much more than Firearms ever will be. But if you want to make all things equal (and it's a given that we can't take automobile regulations too far back) then we must regulate the living hell out of firearms. I think I'll pass on that one.

Death is irreversible - and the direct and/or indirect responsibility for the death of living structures in our world here weighs a lot in the other coming world too. Economic problems are solveable. So your logic says you need a weapon with the name AR-15 to kill human beings - specially US-Americans. Why likes someone to kill other US-Americans? Because he is George Washington? Weird.

The big business with private war weapon trades started by the way in the 1960ies / 1970ies in the USA - about 200 years after your constitution was written. And year by year - slowly but continously - the USA grew to become a more and more dangerous powder keg. The use of drugs grew in the same time, isn't it? When will you return to your valleys and farms and start to live in peace? What for heavens sake are you fighting for within your own country? And why with weapons?

I don't know what "antifa" means in your world. Mostly antifascsists are only antifascists. Good friends - independent from their political orientation. But sometimes so called antifascists attack me and tell me that it is my fault, that my ancestors were murdered from Nazis, because I criticize them. Afterwards they explain to me that only they - and not I - have the right to speak in the name of my murdered ancestors. But my dead Jewish family members and I do not care about.

And since our Constitution, a much cherished document to many Americans gave us the RIGHT under the 2nd amendment to own weapons of MASS SURVIVAL and seeing how certain states and groups want to take these weapons away from us, we can NOT allow it. It is a shame that we have a country of mental misfits that perform mass killings, but it is not the gun that kills. But the people that could be and should be looked at as dangerous to our citizens, are NOT! For the few instances where these mass killings occur YOU are willing to lose your right to the only LOGICAL self protection we have.

The truth is in this case much more simle. The NRA grew to be a criminal organisation, which manipulates politcians so the weapon industry of the USA makes good profits for their owners. That much to many US-Americans die is not a problem for all this criminal minds as long as they are able to recruit useful idiots like you, who break down all problems to very few wrong cliches, which seem to be solvable with weapons. Other problems are able to be solved with alcohol, with money from Las Vegas, with cocaine ... . But when someone says all problems are solvable with coconuts - what's the same as to try to solve all problems with weapons, gambling, alcohol or drugs - then everyone knows such a person is an irrealist - although he's perhaps only a dadaist.

Again looking at history, gun confiscation has occurred under EVERY LEFT WING DICTATORSHIP. To me, that meme represents what keeps the left of this country at bay. Yes, many of us would fight to our deaths against the leftist oppressors here to try and keep us free and this Republic stand as what our forefathers envisioned, at what is demanded for us to pass this great experience down to our children.

If you like to have a better entertainement then go in a George Washington costume with an AR-15 in firing position in a police station. In the USA you will awake in heaven or hell afterwards - in Germany in a psychiatric hospital.
