Why Liberals just don’t get it and never will

Do you really think this is some non intellectual idea?

Haved you really never heard the quote "Communism is the best from of government on paper"?

Communism is a complete failure and I have never met anyone who sang it praises.

Its means the system is not workable because of human nature.

That is true of any system.

Unfettered capitalism is exactly the same.

In human opperation it truns into dictator ship in very short time.

Look up congress woman from california praises cuba.

why is it the republicans think it bright to say education is worthless?

Who said education was worthless? I have heard people say that the education system is in trouble. I did not say education is worthless. Ideas born in academia does not work in the real world.

You have said that ideas that come out of acedemia are worthless.

That is what you said

Now I get it. Kinda like the academia types in the 16th centrury were all about freedom and liberty when in the real world we had the institution of slavery to deal with.

What we have here is corporate socialism. Private profits and socialized losses.

btw we already have in a socialist/republic state in America. Have been for a century or so now....

Insurance is simply privatized socialism. :D

Insurance is based on actuarial analysis, not altruism and redistribution. And it is VOLUNTARY.

Ever notice how most of the academia types are liberals? Ever wonder why that is? How many of you went through college then when you got into the real world found out that everything you were taught only worked in academics but not in the real world? I know a lot of you, myself included, discovered that very thing. The fact is all the liberal ideas are academic ideas and not real world ideas. The reason things that work in academics never works the same in the real world is because in academics you can create your conditions to set your idea in. In the real world, you are stuck with the conditions of the real world.

Sure in the academia world conservative ideas seem barbaric or even reckless. But it works in the real world because the ideas are based on real world motivations. I mean come on you really believe every person will be able to get behind doing what the government tells them to do and then accept that no matter what they do they will never have more than the person next to them. That is even if that person does nothing all. Fact is monetary and survival motivation will always push people better than self motivation. It will always be the case and socialism and communism will always fall far behind capitalism.

It is just the simple real world truth. Sure socialism and communism set in an academia perfect world with perfect people and enough resources to go around. A world that everyone would have the same as everybody else has. Then in that scenario socialism and communism will out perform capitalism. The problem is the world is not perfect. People are not perfect. There aren’t enough resources for everyone in the world and there will never be a time when everything is equal. That being the case Socialism and communism becomes the bad parent giving its favorite children the good stuff and leave the rest to suffer.

At the end of the day there will always be poor and there will always be the rich. It does not matter what you do they will always exist in this world. There will simply always be the haves and have nots. The only question is do you want the decision of who the haves are based on your individual accomplishments and limitations or do you want it based on what the people running the government wants? The US has always gone by the individual and it has made this country the best country in the world to the point where our economy actually keeps other nations financially afloat. Why would we want to change things to what has been tried and failed?

I know there will be those out there that will say true communism has never been tried. That is because it is impossible to fully implement in a large society and we are left with only what has been tried.

what the hell do you think your sentance means?

Tell that to the police after you start driving.

It's not so much that elite academics are selling socialism. It the constant NEGATIVISM about economic freedom that slants EVERY topic under discussion. THey don't inspire great risk-takers and entrenuerial types any more. They inspire "social conciousness" and "social activism" and "sustainability". In a sense -- they push the tangential goals of socialism without advocating the changes in the political arena. EVERYTHING that the free-market has brought us is evil.. And your life should revolve around collectivistic ideals, not creating consumer driven ventures.

Ideas born in academia are "worthless"? Really? Wanna talk about Galileo, Copernicus or DaVinci? Matter of fact, until around the mid 80's, the sketches of the body that DaVinci made in secret (because if those in power knew he was dissecting bodies, they would have killed him), were BETTER THAN those of Gray's Anatomy books.

It seems to be only the ultra religious that think knowledge and academia is a bad thing, they apparently prefer to live in "faith" and ignorance.

LMAO.... complete liesmatter melt down!

SWEET

go away you girls bathroom gossip vampire from jr high.

I gave up caring about what people like you think in early middle school once I figured out you live by sucking off the pain of people who are weaker than who you can poke with an emotional stick to create the the human emotions of shame and fear to feed you addiction.

Your are human refuge sunk deep in a mind trap of your own making.

I'm talking about ideology born from academia. You have to read the whole thing. If you take one sentence the yes that is all it is. But if you read the whole thing you will see I'm talking about ideology that is developed in academia and not in the real world.

Your comments could equally apply to Libertarian economics -- the same model that much of the GOP supports at this point.

A functional system requires a balance between governmental intervention and free market dynamics.

That is what has made America great, not free-market capitalism, which is just as bad as Communism.

And then the blood poured all over your head at the prom.

That was awesome.

And they worked in a classroom and not in the real world?
