Ever notice how most of the academia types are liberals? Ever wonder why that is? How many of you went through college then when you got into the real world found out that everything you were taught only worked in academics but not in the real world? I know a lot of you, myself included, discovered that very thing. The fact is all the liberal ideas are academic ideas and not real world ideas. The reason things that work in academics never works the same in the real world is because in academics you can create your conditions to set your idea in. In the real world, you are stuck with the conditions of the real world.

Sure in the academia world conservative ideas seem barbaric or even reckless. But it works in the real world because the ideas are based on real world motivations. I mean come on you really believe every person will be able to get behind doing what the government tells them to do and then accept that no matter what they do they will never have more than the person next to them. That is even if that person does nothing all. Fact is monetary and survival motivation will always push people better than self motivation. It will always be the case and socialism and communism will always fall far behind capitalism.

It is just the simple real world truth. Sure socialism and communism set in an academia perfect world with perfect people and enough resources to go around. A world that everyone would have the same as everybody else has. Then in that scenario socialism and communism will out perform capitalism. The problem is the world is not perfect. People are not perfect. There aren’t enough resources for everyone in the world and there will never be a time when everything is equal. That being the case Socialism and communism becomes the bad parent giving its favorite children the good stuff and leave the rest to suffer.

At the end of the day there will always be poor and there will always be the rich. It does not matter what you do they will always exist in this world. There will simply always be the haves and have nots. The only question is do you want the decision of who the haves are based on your individual accomplishments and limitations or do you want it based on what the people running the government wants? The US has always gone by the individual and it has made this country the best country in the world to the point where our economy actually keeps other nations financially afloat. Why would we want to change things to what has been tried and failed?

I know there will be those out there that will say true communism has never been tried. That is because it is impossible to fully implement in a large society and we are left with only what has been tried.

Just a heads up about those in academia, our ideas work. The fact that you are able to even say what you have said here is evidence to that. The fact that you live over 35 on average is evidence.
Even Steven Hawkings advocates free health care.

You are completely correct about it not working in normal society.

The reason it won't work is because people make sure it doesn't. People are the problem.

If only you could do away with those pesky people, then all would be fine. Did I say the education system did not work? I’m saying ideas born in the academia world do not work. Health care was tried in the real world to formulate a solution which is then taught. It is not philosophical in nature where it is based completely on ideas.

Now I get it. Kinda like the academia types in the 16th centrury were all about freedom and liberty when in the real world we had the institution of slavery to deal with.

What we have here is corporate socialism. Private profits and socialized losses.

btw we already have in a socialist/republic state in America. Have been for a century or so now....

That may contribute to liberalism. However, I think the biggest contributor is their seeming attitude that this time the experiment will come out differently.

They just don't understand...you put the same formula together multiple times, the results will be the same.

Liberal, socialism, communism...has failed time after time to provide the robust economy and high living standards that are available in the USA.

It is the free market and the mechanics of reward-for-effort that keep this country great. The liberals are all about tearing it down so that nobody has to work for a living. We just all magically get paid.

Insurance is simply privatized socialism. :D

Do you really think this is some non intellectual idea?

Haved you really never heard the quote "Communism is the best from of government on paper"?

Communism is a complete failure and I have never met anyone who sang it praises.

Its means the system is not workable because of human nature.

That is true of any system.

Unfettered capitalism is exactly the same.

In human opperation it truns into dictator ship in very short time.

I don't have a lot of money, mostly my own fault for not saving but those that do for the most part earned it by risking capital that could have lost in an attempt to make more money from their effort. Today people are saying I deserve to profit but I will not risk any capital or put forth any effort.. Liberal just don't understand that except for their big daddy Soros who understands it all too well and he will make a fortune our of the mess he has helped to create.

Anyone with money and a few brains can make money on a downturn.

Anyone with money can make money on the up swing.

That is why those with the big bucks LOVE a volitile market.

Its why they want the regulations gone.

It makes for a volitile market.

They dont like regulations becasue it results in a more stable market that involves regular slow gains.

That type of market resulted in the American middle class.

There is no middle class in a volitile market.

Which model do you think best fits a democracy?

Freedom was born in the US not taught and slowly tried to progress to freedom because the academia world had figured everything out and we slowly put it in place. America was born by our founding fathers wanting to create a free nation.

Yes the corporations run everyone. They are evil and make people by apple computers, large flat screen televisions, and fancy cars. Those evil corporations are running everything in secret. Truth is the people have all the power in the US because they have more votes. The corporations may have money that they line the pockets of the politicians but if they ran everything why would they have any tax at all? You would thing if they ran things they would have zero tax? What about the green energy movement attacking big oil which has a huge amount of money. How can that be they run everything and still be stopped from drilling? They have the money and corrupt the politicians so they don’t stop oil companies. You can say lies over and over again but that does not make it true. Corporations are run by stock holders they will screw someone for a profit sure but they are not the evil empire everyone tries to make them out to be.

We have socialist policies but they are killing this nation. Ever since we have started social programs this nation has been living in a deficit going further and further into debt. We simply do not have the money to keep operating as we have been. And increasing the tax on the rich is not the solution that will just slow down the private economy and revenues will still keep going down.

why is it the republicans think it bright to say education is worthless?

Who said education was worthless? I have heard people say that the education system is in trouble. I did not say education is worthless. Ideas born in academia does not work in the real world.
