I'm Christian, and wouldn't believe a word of it if it had come straight from the Pope. Only Catholics believe what he says, and i don't follow the Catholic religion...i see it as more of a cult than anything Christian.

If you want to rely on the Early Church as a model, you need to drop the strict adherence to The Bible as constructed by CATHOLIC bishops at the behest of a PAGAN emporer and look to the books they were actually reading back then.

Exactly! Luther's concept of "sola scriptura" is actually unscriptural, as attested by Matthew 16:16-9(KJV).

If Catholicism is a cult, then those are the passages that prove it's the cult approved by Jesus.

My father was a liberal Democrat. Lettered in 4 sports at Guilford College in NC, graduated in 1942. Was in Marine Reserves, off to boot camp September 1942, commissioned 2nd Lt. at Quantico after OCS, train to west coast to go over seas. 2nd Marine Division landed numerous islands, promoted twice in the field to Captain. Off loading troops off of Okinawa and his troop carrier was hit by a kamikazee. Came home and was just about to finish his PHD under the GI bill as he was also in the Marine Reserves and was called back to train troops at Lejeune in Jacksconville, NC in 1953. I was born in Raleigh in 1954. Dad taught and coached high school and college and remained active in the Marine and every local veterans group from NC to Tennessee when we moved there in the mid 60s to Ga. where we moved in 1968 to Florida where he retired in 1979 until his death on Memorial Day, May 2010

I have many relatives with the same pedigree that are liberal Democrats. None of them are communists, anti God, anti religion, anti Christian or any other of the bull shit you morons post here.

true christians try to live their lives by the principles Christ displayed.
Love, no hatred, generosity, kindness, helping, etc.

True Christians do not have "I love Jesus" as their license plate, on their hat and T shirt and tatooed on their forehead.
A true Christian never has to tell anyone they are a Christian.
People will know it by their ACTIONS.
