Want the video to prove the quote? OK. Here you go ;)

Romney: "It's not a tax hike. It is a fee, an assessment." - YouTube

Wow. Sucks to be Romney and have to argue against yourself so much.

Because their base believes anything they tell them.... bottom line is that this is the largest tax increase on middle class Americans in U.S. history.

Seems so obvious - you're going to pay more on your federal income taxes if you don't have HC insurance. There'll be a place on the tax return somewhere for you to declare it, and you will pay a higher tax if you don't have insurance and are above a certain level of income. And if you don't have the insurance but lie about it and say you do to avoid the higher taxes, then you've committed a crime and they will put you in prison, no different from Al Capone.

It's a tax which you are obligated to pay to the IRS. On everybody above a certain income level that is a lot lower than Obama's pledge for those making under $200k.

No, it's not a tax. The WH sez so.

Government cant run hospitals or a healthcare system. VA hospital rated worst in U.S.
That assessment of ONE VA hospital does not apply to all. BTW the agencies that inspected the facility and found the problems were GOVERNMENT AGENCIES. Give them some credit!

BTW The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is a government mandate for freeloaders with no HCI (but with means) to pay a (fine/tax) to offset a publicly incurred debt in the event they are rushed to the ER like so many of their kind often are. The only government involvement is the enforcement issues involving the IRS.
