France, Great Britain, Austro Hungary, Turkey, Japan are no longer empires, and their loss of power had nothing to do with homosexuality. So the OP is bust.

The rise of technology is also correlated with the ends of empires. In fact, everything is correlated with the ends of empires . . . because they all end.

According to Spengler, the shift towards spectator sports and the building of massive pieces of architecture indicated an empire in decline.

Remember that, all you football fans.

An obvious causation of empires in decline are the failure of the Dodgers to get to the world series in more than twenty years.

When homosexuality peaked in ancient Greece and Rome, it was during their declines. The Torah tells the story of Sodom and Gomorrah, where the death of a civilization occurred --- due to homosexuality.

So the question is, does homosexuality destroy civilizations or is it simply correlated with their decline?

Notice that greatly impoverished states like the Wiemar Republican and post-USSR Russia started to regain their strength rapidly when dictators like Hitler and Putin put an end to homosexuality, and empires like the current United States and the UK are in decline as they promote homosexuality.

Although they are correlated, I dont think homosexuality is the actual cause of the fall of an empire. It's the general lack of moral code, cultural fortitude and Rule of Law (that squares with moral law -- Martin Luther King) that allows homosexuals and other perverts to publicly expose themselves.

Empires whose fall did not 'correlate' to homosexuality:

The Byzantine, the Aztecs, the Mayans, the Incas, Japan of the 20th century, the Zulus, the many dynasties/empires of China, the Mongols, tsarist Russia, the Napoleonic empire, the Austrian empire...

shall I go on?

Seems to me Rome and Greece both did fine with rampant homosexuality. Wasn't unitl Christianity became the primary religion of Rome that it fell apart though.

There is a huge difference between sexual behavior in ancient Greece and Rome compared to anything we see today. Most homosexual acts committed in those societies were committed by heterosexual men who were deviants in their behavior. Sex was permitted among males, and the male who was the penetrater would not lose his masculinity. It was about power over others, not about a loving or consensual act among gay men. The same is true of Sodom and Gomorrah. This is the mistake people make when referencing homosexual acts of Biblical times to those of today. Of course there were also gays in those times, but the sexual deviance discussed in religious texts refers to the type of deviant sex acts that took place among non-gay men.

I tend to agree. There were no gay pride parades in Rome. It was a society where certain dudes had limitless power over other dudes and there were some freaky master-slave relationships.

Today, there are 7 billion people on the planet. Reproduction is not as vital to our survival as it was in the Ancient World. The robots are coming, and then we won't even need reproduction to raise an army or a workforce.

Homosexuality coincides with decadence. So do hair salons for dogs and weight loss products.
