Why is the mainstream media ignoring Romney 5 game winning streak?

The last five primary/caucus contest were won by Romney, including huge margin wins in WA and AZ. The last five contests were AZ, MI, ME, WA and WY! I know the skeptics say MI was his home-state (which I don't buy that it's such a deal-makers, esp with Romney's opposition to the auto bailout which is popular in MI) and WY and ME are tiny states. Yet AZ, WA and MI have more delegates than CO, MS and MN and the media was reporting like gangbusters that Santorum has momentum and will win the election now!

The mainstream media wants Santorum to win, because he is a weak general election candidate. That's why they hyped up the Santorum trifecta and downplay the Romney win streak!

He could win as a Centrist Democrat, but no way in hell as a Conservative Republican.

If only Romeny would stop trying to act like a conservative...but he can not do that until the generals because the base will abandon him!
