Visiting a country like Burma, that had, under Obama's watch, got rid of their military junta, and encouraging them to stay on their path to democracy and support of human rights, is a vacation? Perhaps in your pea brain.

If they already got rid of the junta as you stated, why does he need to go there now? To give them a personal "fist-bump"?

To improve trade relations, since the embargo is over. It's either us, or the Chinese, they choose to buy from. I'd prefer American jobs be created to meet their demand. After the 15 years of military rule, and the sanctions associated with it, their oil and gas industry is in shambles. We make pretty decent equipment here, and I'm glad that Obama is exploiting their demand.
