Why is it we talk about the debt but ignore 9-11?

Why is it we have ignored what 9-11 did to our country, financially

We are and have been at war

And yet no-one talks about this as it has anything to do with the years GWB was president and it has nothing to do with now being over and done with, won, (Iraq) with 33% of the troops there now and by years end about 8% of what was there in 07?

Yet the deficit is going thru the roof
While we where within 162 billion breaking even in 07

Why is it this is never discussed by the media?
