He was roundly condemned by liberals for his actions, and he made the ultimate sacrifice for his views, being denied his seat in the US Senate by libs who support Illegal Aliens.

Sure it is. That's how the two-party system works. Each side wants power, but each has a different angle. The right wants to take away personal freedoms and punish non-conformists, whereas the left wants to punish non-conformists and take away personal freedoms.
