Why is it that republicans do not at all care about our nation’s infrastructure?

i definitely won’t pretend that democrats in office make infrastructure spending an important priority, but at least SOME democrats push legislation to help alleviate the problem. Bernie discussed the issue extensively during the campaign. Obama made a tiny contribution with his stimulus package, but he was pressured to make cuts to the overall budget so in the end it wasn’t effective.

Republicans, on the other hand, don’t give a shit about it whatsoever and it makes them fucking stupid. A time will come when our antiquated electrical grid just FAILS and we aren’t prepared for it at all.

Do these rich pricks think their livelihoods aren’t at stake? They should think again. We are all fucked.

I haven't seen the need for a bunch of infrastructure in Seattle. The roads and bridges seem to work just fine for me.
