Why is it so many Americans

have bought into all of the Federal Departments?
Have they really helped? Or is it just costing us all way to damn much money.
The FAA is suppose to be for our safety.
A 300.00 round air trip ticket costs each and everyone of us who fly 60.00 to fund that agency. Yes 60.00 dollars of that 300.00 dollar ticket goes to the Feds.
The EPA costs us all in our water, electricity and natural gas.
The Department of Education has done nothing but add money and has not done a thing to improve our children's education.
Why do so many of us think that these Departments really improve things when all it does is cost us way to much damn money and is the very cause of our Employer's unable to make more money so that they can expand and hire more employees? Over regulation has done great harm to all of our businesses. It has gone way to far and over the top.
We need to get rid of a lot of these departments.
We all need to look at things differently.
Congress should be making these laws and not the departments.
They should pass laws that hold Companies responsible for pollutants for our air, water and ground.
If congress passed a bill that would fine them a very stiff fine like millions or billions of dollars, depending of how large or small the company is and threaten to shut them down or put them out of business if they are caught polluting.
Why can't people see that these departments are unconstitutional? Especially when they start making the laws instead of congress.
Do any of you who are for big government see how this costs us all?
If congress did their duty and passed the laws instead of the Departments, we would all be able to afford things.
Because of the EPA, it makes it too expensive for the poor to be able to afford their electric bills or gas bills for heating. So then government has to help pay for their bills.
What kind of madness is this?
First we pay taxes for the EPA and then we pay taxes to help the poor heat and light their homes. This absolute madness.

Yopu would think when it came out that the pentagon was spening 700 on a hammer and 1500 on toilet seats, the people would wake up...or at least our reps would wake up.
But no....our reps did nothing about it and we voted them in for another term.

I think this whole debt issue may turn things around.

We do need an FCC and an FAA and other agencies becuase we, the people, do not have the resources to ensure certain "common items" are taken care of.....

Agreed.....for example BO couldn't get Cap and Trade passed through Congress so instead he is pushing his agenda through the EPA....

The first misleadingly titled release “EPA Formally Announces Phase-in of Clean Air Act Permitting for Greenhouse Gases/Agency reiterates no stationary source requirements until 2011” makes it clear the EPA absolutely will regulate (tax) stationary sources of greenhouse gases (power plants, factories, farms, homes, etc…) starting Jan 2011.

Congress should pass bills to make air lines safe. The bill should make it very stringent that if they dont make their company safe they will pay dearly for it and be shut down.
It is not the FAA that is needed.
What part of, you could use 60.00 dollars more for things that you want or need rather than paying that to the feds, are so many not getting?
Keep adding it all up (each and every government thing) and more and more of your money gets taken away and mismanaged and misused by the government.
