Why is it ok to burn the Bible but not the quran?

Anyone have a clue?

Well ONE difference is where is the burning taking place. Obviously this is in reference to what our soldiers did in Afghanistan and that is wrong, regardless of what someone in this country might do.

If some guy say in Texas wants to burn a pile of Korans, or Bibles, tough shit to those who would complain. Freedom rules baby.

Both are wrong; note the killing & riots as opposed to burning Bibles in Afghanistan. The Muslim religion considers parts of the Bible holy also. As for burning Korans in Texas, sure, endanger our troops while YOU remain safely in the US!

It's more a question of why do people do things to deliberately piss off religious fanatics. Christians will kill in the name of God also, it just takes different circumstances.

I listening to the news and because the U.S. Military is Afghanistan burnt some Quran obama has apologized for that, and 12 people have been killed over it.

Christians won't murder people over it....we wouldn't like it, but it doesn't make us go crazy! I wonder if Obama would apologize to the Christians like he did the Muslims? Ha....doubt it!

Lets reverse the scenario: Muslim soldiers occupy a US terrority and burn a bible while there - this would be ok? Or would some be offended? Enought to kill? Probably not. Enought to riot? Yes.

The soldiers acted foolishly. The commanding officers should answer to the deaths.

What kind of human being murders another human being because a book was burned?

horseshit

What was the christian church doing just few hundred years ago in the holy land? Muslims still remember that even if some of us brush it off as inconsequential.

Burning a Bible, the Koran or our Flag is a protected right of citizens in the United States in exercising their right of freedom of expression. Doing so does not make the behavior smart (kinda like those who openly carry unloaded firearms, it may be their right but it too is stupid).
