I think I said it has the theological foundations for a suicide cult
It takes a lot more pushing and reinforcement to turn a Christian denomination into a full blown suicide cult. Understand, in this life, the concept is to establish the faith and suffer--then in the next life, you reap the benefits for suffering...
In other words, many of the Christian acts and prayers and belief system is to use this life to write your ticket into the afterlife. Personally, I do not see how this is suppose to work since the idea of some holy scribe keeping track of your actions on Earth is a bit far fetched is not fully described in the bible--except if that person is Jesus Christ himself.
Does not Jesus have more important things to do than count how many times Tiger Woods cheated on his wife. I mean really.
