Perhaps there should be a movement by Afro-Americans and Afro-Europeans to return to their homeland and lend assistance to establish a better life for all their people..

Their people? Africans are not my people, there is a big difference between where your ancestors lived and where you live. I just don't think it makes sense to send people to countries they know nothing about. People left their countries in the past for a reason, whether they didn't like it there or forced out that's history. People today wouldn't be likely to fit in or like it there. I don't know what kind of point Matthew is trying to make about people who don't even live there.

Well, to be honest, I had a bevy of members on the USMB ( as recruits) in mind when I wrote that post. In retrospect I doubt they would be of much value in either location as they mostly deal in race baiting and frivolous insults in regards to Republicans and "white people" in general.

but .. the concept of African Americans taking an active roll in the restoration and economic growth of various African nations could be an interesting discussion, I'm thinkin..

Africa, especailly the sub-Saharan part is pretty impoverished and not experiencing the development in much of the rest of the developing world. Liberals will point to colonialism and blame "whites" wherever they can, conservatives will point to the failed policies of so many black liberation policies of many governments in the region and racists will point to lower black intelligence as its manifestation.

Invariably all are right, but it is a matter of degree where the fault lies. Colonialism was a mixed bag for Africa and much of the rest of the world. Resources were plundered, no doubt, but more effective institutions and concepts of governance than tribal chieftains and kings were also colonial legacies.

There is little doubt that some of the worst leaders in the world were born out of anti-colonial black liberation movements in Africa. Names like Bokassa, Amin, Mugabe and Taylor have left the regions in tatters, many areas are just now beginning to recover.

And, of course, it is pretty much undeniable that those areas which retained significant former-colonial populations have fared better than those who effectively cleansed themselves. South Africa, perhaps observing the realities in neighboring Zimbabwe, decided not to disenfranchise its white population.

While the face of South African government today is decidedly black, the behind-the-scenes movers and shakes are of a decidedly paler complexion. To some extent they have been replaced by blacks who have attained higher education, but certainly not at the levels initially hoped for. The simple explanation is that the greatest resource any sub-Saharan black government can hope for is large non-black minorities.

Heresy to some, I'm sure. However, outside the alter of political correctness, all the above is pretty much a given.

NE Asians have a 5 point lead on caucasians. if you include SE asians the difference disappears or worse. most of the NE asian lead is in spacial and math abilities, smart whites like Ashkenazi have high verbal which is more correlated to creativity and genius.

How about instead of childishly insulting a continent of people you've never met, you should go yourself and see just how simple it is to live a happy life. Why do you even care what goes on in a continent you don't live on?

"BAD LEADERS" affect more than you think. If you maybe open a history book you may notice examples like Hitler and stalin in WW2, the economies in germany and USSR weren't doing so well either due to their inability to run a country. I'm not using them as examples because they'er white, I'm just pointing out some examples.
