Why I'm Voting For Obama

President Obama chose not to support, protect and defend the Constitution despite taking the crucial oath to do exactly that.

All who vote FOR him are schmucks who do not care about the Constitution.

Yep. Sure did.

By paying off Bush's credit card.

Notice how the chart shows only 7 Bush years? Why do you think that is?

Multiple Choice:

(a) because Bush was actually in office for 7 years. It just seemed like 8.
(b) because Bush got tired his last year in office, and let Obama do the last budget.
(c) because the chart misleadingly assigns Bush's last $1.3 trillion deficit to Obama.

Hint: The answer is not (a) or (b).

Funny, Obama manages to BEAT Bush's biggest deficit and the best you can do is point to Bush and say he did it too?

Bush sucked. Everyone agrees on that point. What I can't figure out is that his predecessor does everything that Bush did and somehow he is a savior!?!?

Not everyone agrees. Enough Republicans voted for him to give him two terms.

Anyway, not everything he did sucked. Once the financial crisis hit, he did the right thing: he spent the money needed to keep the banks right side up. I didn't say Bush shouldn't have spent the money. I said the chart was made by a liar.

The United Postal Service is gonna lay off about 30 thousand people in March.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

because bush forced them to pay for 75 years of retirement in 10...

but you are too dumb to know that

not quite.

and maybe it would have been best to let their pension funds go the way of so many others? Just become dilapidated, based on bullshit revenue projections then get dumped into PBGC, and the retirees get only 20 cents on the dollar, like those poor schmucks in SEIU locals will, well I'd say at least a third of them.

Because your party forced them to fund 75 years of retirement in ten years.

The PO is fine but they are under a burden NO OTHER ENTITY in the world is asked to do.

Why does the right want the PO dead when the founders were willing to pay for it right in the constitution?
Because a postal service was the only method of non face to face communication. Now we have tons...
The USPS operates with a 18th century business model. It has a union mindset where productivity is frowned upon. Case and point. I go into my local PO....There are 20 or so people waiting on line. Three clerks. Suddenly one closes her station. A collective groan floats throughout the lobby. What happened? Union freakin coffee break!!! Yeah, the union says "leave your station and take your break. The union is king, screw the customers. They can wait."
That is bullshit. In my world, customer service people HELP THE CUSTOMER. In my world customer service workers can help the customers until the line is gone. Then take your break. This is why people hate the DMV, Post office and all other government services where customers must wait to be served and wait fro very long periods of time. Why? Because most government workers range from pretty good to just there to put in their time to downright nasty.
Junk mail....Should be charged at a MUCH higher rate. All advertisement and solicitations should have a HIGHER rate. Not the lower bulk rate. Let them whine. They can advertise on the internet like every one else.

2. Obama is fixing the economy.

No stupid.....The economy is fixing the economy. Government is stifling the growth of the private sector.
BTW, what the hell does this graph state?....

The numbers on the left show the change in private employment, in thousands. When Bush left office 800,000 people a month were losing their jobs. The private sector began gaining jobs at the beginning of 2010, at the end of Obama's first year in office. Since then, we've been gaining about 150,000 per month - not enough, but way better than where we were at at the end of 2008.

Key phrase....NOT ENOUGH.

Fire the man in charge and get someone else in there.

Our party hasn't been able to do shit since Jan 07'.:eusa_angel:

I think this graph is BS, but the poster seems to have given away something.

Notice how the economy was basically the same as it is now when the Democrats took back Congress in 07'. They destroyed the economy for political purposes, and now it's slowly getting back almost to normal...except the fact that Obama is holding back banking and employment.

Funny.. I thought it would be all of the "change" away from the Bush-era policies that The Obama promised during His campaign.

Especially closing Gitmo and the elimination of GWB's tax cuts for the rich.

Never mind that the graph shows that Bush is responsible for whatever recovery we've had.

What coincided with that free fall???? Anyone , anyone,,,,,, Beuller? Let's see, November of 2006, what happened in November of 2006 besides President Bush being a crippled duck President with less than no power? Who took over both the House and the Senate? Does the name Nancy "stretch" Pelosi ring a bell? Barney
"gay pimp" Franks? Harry "mr. Vegas" Reid? Let's not forget Timmy "The Tax Cheat" Geithner or the woman that lies about visits to war zones to make herself look relevant.

Where do you guys get your marching orders? Is it Rush Limbaugh? Is there some sort of email that goes out?

"Dear everybody: Now we're going to blame every thing on... Nancy Pelosi!"

George W. Bush inherited a strong economy, a budget surplus, and a nation at peace.

Eight years later, he left Obama with a shattered economy, a trillion dollar deficit, and two useless wars.

Obama saved the country from another Great Depression, rebuilt GM, reformed healthcare, reformed Wall Street, doubled the stock market, created 7 straight quarters of GDP growth, created 19 straight months of private sector job growth, increased household net worth by $9 trillion dollars, got Bin Laden, got Gaddafi, and got us out of Iraq.

And now with the automatic spending cuts and the expiration of the Bush tax cuts in 2012, Obama has solved the deficit problem as well.

Obama has done a very good job.

This is either a lie or a demonstration of abject ignorace - the economy was falterning before GWB was elected.

Lesse...
...a shattered ecoomy.. that The Obama has done nothing to fix
...a deficit total that The Obama has exceeded
...wars where The Obama has done nothing other than contine GWB's policies.

Wow... does your Secular Messiah pay you for these rehtorical blow jobs or do you swallow for free?

Obama has been pretty bad, but Bush was much worse.

We're currently minus 1.2 million private sector jobs since O took office, under W we were minus 3 million private sector jobs at this point in his term. And over the 8 years of W, we were minus 700,000 private sector jobs - a remarkable accomplishment.

Bush was a borrow and spend Socialist who gave us Medicare Part D, No Child, and massive small business regulation with Sarbanes-Oxley. You can't claim to be an economic conservative and defend Bush, because then you're defending ineffective, big government programs.

Interesting....

GWB was, apparently, a terrible president because of all the policy items and/or the effect of same that The Obama ran against in 2008.
The Obama has done little more than continue or expand, those policy items.
How is The Obama not worse than GWB?
