Why I'm a Democrat

Why bring up Bush? Oh that's right that's the only defense you Obama supporters have.

Obama can be impeached on numerous things, one is engaging in illegal funding of Pro-Abortion and Pro-Sharia Kenyan Constitution using taxpayer dollars.

I'm not an Obama supporter.

YOU invited me to compare what Obama "has done for me" to what Bush had done, when YOU asked.

Since The Executive cannot fund ANYTHING without congressional approval (only the legislative branch has this power) your example of an impeachable offense is more than a little ridiculous

I did no such thing.

Look who is calling who a moron. You can't even spell the fucking word.

Obama needs to be impeached and when the Republicans take both the house and senate, that just may happen.

Obama hasn't done shit for me. What has he done for you?

Highlight where I asked for a comparison. And highlight where I mentioned Bush at all.

Did you even bother to read the link? This funding is an impeachable offense. Because the Kenyan Constitution essentially opens the nation up to unlimited abortions, the White House is in direct conflict with the Siljander Amendment annually included in the State, Foreign Operations Appropriations Act.

The Amendment reads, “None of the funds made available under this Act may be used to lobby for or against abortion, and violations are subject to civil and criminal penalties under the Antideficiency Act, 31 U.S.C. § 1341.”

You asked "What has Obama done for you?"

The answer is "Nothing," but that would only be relevant, if I could compare what he has done to another president. I picked Bush because he was the last president of the USA, but had I known this would have triggered your partisan inferiority complex, I would have compared him to Clinton, who also did nothing for me.

Again, you, and the article, seem to be in some weirdly desperate state of confusion: The Obama administration's Dept of State distributes funds authorized by congress. Once the funds are distributed to Kenya, how are they supposed to know if they're being used to fund abortions, or to buy rice?

One more idiotgram, the last I hope to see (at least on this thread).

Please, which "Facts are just too uncomfortable"?

Yes, I expressed an opinion, and you responded with an ad hominem attack. A very weak one, but one none the less.
Other than to cut taxes Si modo, what do you propose? Like the limited one, laying-off more workers in a time of unemployment?
Question, Wry: How does one address emotions and hyperbole with facts?

Apparently you interpreted my post as "emotion" and "hyperbole", ....
I wonder why.
The Republican Party needs to put country first and that won't happen. Their only policy that has been in effect, and has been affective, is working to make Obama fail. Every idea has been ridiculed and falsely characterized as "Socialism" or worse, and every need all of us seem to be concerned with can be fixed by the one magic bullet held by the conserviatives: Tax Cuts.

....
[Emphasis added] Just for starters.

This from another forum I go to and was posted by a "buddy" of mine but I don't think he'd mind me posting it since ;imho; it's so spot on and tells ;at least; my opinion on this issue.

The problem I see is that both sides here are trying to pin it on either Bush or Obama, which, unfortunately will not get to the root of the problem.

We have an out of control Federal government, that meddles in virtually every aspect of our lives and in every aspect of business. We have a quasi-governmental entity that legally counterfeits money. We have a military budget that matches virtually the rest of the world combined with troops spead across the globe. We have an entitlement mentality set up in this country which has sapped us of our traditional strengths. We spend nearly 50% of every dollar on government.

And you guys are going to sit here and yell "BUSH!" and "OBAMA!" at each other.

I'm still annoyed, and society has done nothing to help.:(

That's exactly what I asked and then you proceeded to bring up Bush, when the answer was a simple "nothing".

Why don't you read the link I provided. The funds that were given to Kenya were explicitly for the "Yes Campaign" to get the Kenyan Constitution approved. The Kenyan Constitution is Pro-abortion/pro-sharia.

According to a chart of USAID received by the three congressmen pursuing this investigation, two organizations have been given over 150,000 dollars to push the Yes Campaign and many other groups have been given smaller amounts, including, but not limited to:

* The Central Organization of Trade Unions, Kenya (COTU) received $91,106.66 to “marshal a coalition of pro-Constitution individuals, institutions, and organizations to drum up political support for the Proposed Constitution by organizing a public rally at the historic Kamukunji Grounds, Nairobi.”

* The Provincial Commissioner North Eastern Province obtained $99,220 for “one of a series of activities that aim to contribute to an ‘overrepresentation’ of the YES voters at the next referendum. Specifically, OTI will provide support to the office of the Provincial Commissioner (PC) in the form of transportation and fuel.”

* The Kenya Muslim Youth Alliance (KMYA) got $56,953.33 from the Obama administration for “one of a series of activities that aim to contribute to an ‘overrepresentation’ of the YES voters at the next referendum. Specifically, OTI will provide support to Kenya Muslims Youth Alliance (KMYA) in the form of transportation and communications.”

* The Provincial Peace Forum, Rift Valley Province received $94,193.33 to “build on previous activities in the North Rift as an entry point for a YES campaign on the constitution. Specifically, this activity will serve to gain buy-in for the new proposed constitution by getting the professional elites’ commitment.”

Sorry. I'm no longer with the federal government, so I'm in no position to help you.

I agree the Republican Party has sucked but this time we're going to sit on top of them and make them start undoing all the damage Progressives have inflicted on our government and civilization these past 100 years.

We're going to shut down whole government departments and programs, we're going to shirk government and expand the private sector. Hang in there, Wry. Help is coming!
Well, even the limited have ideas (not their own, mind you, but a good effort CF).

So, let's follow 'your' logic.
You will shut down whole government departments. I assume you mean local, state and federal agencies. My questions are these:
1. Which agencies, and how many employees will be layed-off?
2. Assuming many of the newly layed-off have difficulty securing new employment, are buying their home (or renting), have children and bills, what will they do?
3. If, more homes are foreclosed, how might that sector of the economy impact all others?
4. What will happen to the restaurants, dry cleaners, and other private sector business when whole agencies stop buying their products (paper, pens, ink,) or leasing their copy & fax machines, land-line and cell phones, and other electronic stuff?
5. Do you ever critically think about the opinions you have (it does not appear so)?

That would be a great response if I was a partisan drone, but I'm not

Anyway, good luck pinning an accusation of willful disregard for any Act of Congress on Obama based on the flimsy evidence you cut from the article.

That was just one example, there are many, but you like most Obama apologetics will dismiss then as flimsy too. Que Sera, sera.

You must be right: THE EVIDENCE IS SO OVERWHELMING, but no suit has been filed anywhere because.....

um....????

**************************************************************

So, what should be done?

A huge influx of capital, both from the government and private investors in at least three national projects: Rebuilding the electrical grid; building inter and intra urban railroads and canals for the transport of goods, recreation and flood control; and the building of health care centers in each congressional district across America providing preventative medicine and health care education.
Image the possibilities, jobs for decades, less dependence on foreign oil, and a healthier happier citizenry. The opposite of hate and fear, the only other policy the Republican Party seems to have.

I'm not commenting on the first part, but I agree with this. Best yet, infrastructure is something the Government is supposed to be doing anyways, and it is one of the few things Government does well.

Infrastructure programs provide jobs and facilitate economic development. Keep the Bailout money, build the roads, dams, hospitals and nuclear power plants we need to ensure future growth.

Not too observant, are you?

Sufficiently so, you've made it very clear. I'll continue to do my chores and wait for crusaderfrank to post another of the comprehensive and insightful comments I expect from the 'conservative' element.
The 'ideas' expressed by the fringe leave little room for doubt.

Because the democrats control both the house and the senate, the effort would be futile.

But you knew that. Right?

Like Somali Pirates the idiot fringe of the RW hyjacks any effort to debate the real issues confronting our nation. Bereft of ideas the self-defined conservatives engage in overt efforts to censor anyone who offers an opinion or solution, often employing ad hominem attacks, distracting with red herrings, building straw men, setting up false dichotomies, appeals to authority (God said!) and the ever popular ad populum. Those who listened to Beck familiar with these rhetorical tools recoginzied them right off.

"Why I'm a Democrat

"Serously, how could anyone support a party lead by McConnell and Boehner? Two pols who take their lead from demagogues, Limbaugh and Beck; and populists, like Palin and Gingrich?

"While America 'burns', the Republicans 'fiddle'; Becks rally Sunday was the most recent 'tune' ("God is Great"; hey Glen, that's been done. See Iran for how well that worked out).
Past tunes: Obama is a Muslim! He was born in the Africa! He is a Socialist! He is a Marxist! He hates white people! OMG, he played golf! And all of these tunes are played back over and over by the Loony Tune Players on this message board".

SEEMS pretty spot on to me.

And, "So, what should be done?

"IMO A huge influx of capital, both from the government and private investors in at least three national projects: Rebuilding the electrical grid; building inter and intra urban railroads and canals for the transport of goods, recreation and flood control; and the building of health care centers in each congressional district across America providing preventative medicine and health care education.

"No one on the right, on this thread or any thread ever (now, that may be hyperbole, or it may be true) has every had a plan but for Cut taxes, cut spending. And, NEVER do that say what should be cut."

I thought we were talking on the Federal Level.

Here's my Corleone Baptism List of Departments that get Whacked Immediately:

Department of Education
Fannie Mae
Freddie Mac
HUD
Farmers Home Administration
Tennessee Valley
Rural Electrification

All in all only 2MM people work for the government so the above list represent less than one week new unemployment caused by Obama and his failed Stimulus.

I'd also go through US State and have many people just disappear.

Those who listened to Beck (Obammy, Olbermann, the N.Y Times, Paul Krugman, etcetera) familiar with these rhetorical tools recoginzied them right off.

After six pages, we've finally come to the real answer:

"Because I'm a hopeless neurotic mired in the Hegelian dialectic, who desperately needs to project my neuroses, paranoia, foibles and abject fear onto my perceived opponents."

The kind of help you need isn't going to be found here or in any political party, Mr. Carlin.
