It's a political issue, so it belongs in the political forum. Regardless of which poster I mention in the title, it is still political, and a valid thread.

Attacking Romney for not releasing his 1970 tax returns is a diversion to deflect from obama's record. The democrats already know what's in those tax returns. They have them. If there was anything irregular it would have been leaked by now. If the democrats at the IRS could leak Joe the Plumber's tax return they can leak Romneys.

So there's nothing to see. It's just something to holler about hoping the noise will obscure obama's fuck ups.

we have an absolute right to know their financials... a) traditionally, it's expected; b) if someone in government is going to be making decisions affecting his own financial well-being, we should know that.

it's kind of funny... judges and non-judicial personnel working for courts in my state have to file an annual financial disclosure. why on earth would you think someone who wants to be president shouldn't?

Romney DID, like Obama DID, file a financial disclosure. That is required by law. Romney did not release tax returns, as is his right, under law.

I don't think Obama should have released his either, as I don't believe we have a right to them, as stated above. So whining about not wanting 'my guy' to release his is a bad argument on your part, because YOUR GUY shouldn't have had to release them either.
