Why has the media censored the priest/child abuse issue?

5-10 years ago it was a huge story but then conservatives started pointing out that it proves perverts are almost always child molesters. So the Ministry of Truth banned all discussion of the subject.

The issue dropped out of the news because the Church stopped protecting pedophile priests as much and stated writing huge checks to the victims, with non-disclosure agreements attached therefore no longer jack shit to discuss.
