Why don't we ban alcoholic beverages instead of making it illegal to drive drunk?

Here we go with the false justifications.
Since M.A.D.D. formed in California many years ago, the laws against driving while intoxicated in every state have changed radically.
You probably don't recall or simply never knew this.
Drive drunk and get caught back then in the 60s and 70s, nothing, slap on the wrist. It was an episode of "Andy Griffith" with Andy letting Otis sleep it off in jail.
Now it's a $10,000 fine plus six months of compulsory education and goes down as a criminal offense on your record.
Similar changes need to be made for owning weapons that can kill or wound 500 people in 10 minutes.
It's just common sense, you stupid fucking asshole.

The gun control hand wringing from the left is nothing but political opportunism.

They don't want to stop gun violence, or else they would address the black on black gun murders in the inner cities. They want to be political. NOTHING MORE.

So is it more guns or more gun owners that equals more crime because no matter how you slice it our crime rate is at a 30 year low and our murder rate is almost at a 120 year low

What we are comparing is the action of banning something for all because a few people might wind up hurting someone

Or holding everyone responsible for the acts of a few.

It's not too hard to figure that out

Will the government will come save you? 4,000 deaths and 18,000 shootings on the South Side of Chicago during the Obama administration?

Rahm Emmanuel and Obama sure as fuck aren't going to come save your ass.

These assholes never deal in facts. If there are FACTS that disprove their bullshit, they just IGNORE THE FACTS.

HERE ARE THE FACTS...stop fucking lying, PROGS.

SINCE 1993, gun ownership is UP 50%, and gun homicides are DOWN 50%.

And the murder rate is at a 120 year low but none of that matters

Obama must have thought that so many gun deaths were just fine and dandy because Chicago has very strict gun laws.....

    You can't account for stupid............or power-hungry

Those murders went down because of tougher gun laws
