Why doesn't gun control in Canada keep their gun murder rate down?

Canada has gun control....and yet their gun murder rate is going up, not down...

Will a public health approach reduce gun violence? Yes | The Star

Gun violence in Toronto is reaching epidemic proportions. Over the past four years, the number of shootings has more than doubled from 177 in 2014 to 424 in 2018.

And they cut the programs to put more employment in the neighborhoods. Plus, they cut the community involvement programs. Both of those programs do work wonders if you heavily support them like NYC has.

Gun control does not work period. The bad guys can always get their hands on guns. The money spent on gun control has run into the billions in Canada but yet people still injured or killed by guns. Gun control is a farce and is only being pushed by our Canadian lackey politicians to try to make it appear as though they are trying to so something about gun violence. Billions of tax dollars blown with no good results.

There are laws on the books for fools who shoot people, and all our politicians have to do is to enforce those laws by making sentences much tougher. Shoot someone and they get life without parole. If it is by accident that is different story but to go out and murder someone for revenge or money than it is jail for life for that person. That is all that is required to do. It is just plain common sense and conservative logic something which is sadly missing in this world today. :113:

So their gun murder rate is lower and you use that for proof gun laws don't work :(

stop being the manchurian poster for the gun rights.

Post a bit about northern US vs Canadian gun crime rates. Those were your strongest stats. You're good. Don't give in.

Oh,if it were all that simple. You should publish a paper on that. You can start it with "Once Upon a Time". If you don't face your social problems head on then the lack of guns or more guns doesn't change a thing.
