If the conservatives of this board insist the Democratic party is bent on turning us into Stalinist Russia then perhaps we should forget that there is a difference between the Republican party and Nazi Germany, after all, it seems to now be acceptable to link the most innocent and well-meaning thought to historic nightmares of tyranny. Perhaps we should all, for once, enjoy the freedom to call our fellow Americans traitorous nazis all the time and mean it.

We could go happily from thread to thread carelessly flinging accusations of Nazism willy-nilly to our fellow citizens for nothing more than the sin of disagreeing with us. Think of it, no need to worry about nuance or complexity anymore, it's so much easier to just continually accuse our fellow right wing messageboard members of approving of the worst nation state that right-wing politics ever produced.

It's going to be so freeing to finally call people Nazis for their every political thought and comment. The right has shown us what it means to have the freedom to turn political discourse into a race to the bottom, thank all those Nazis, for having the guts to break the final civility barrier by closing ranks behind the idea that it is OK to group the left directly with the worst nation state that left wing politics ever produced.

Death to politically correct nazi double standards. Call me a communist, I call you a Nazi, its equality in action. We must have equal protection under Godwin's law or none at all.

So, you really think you have something here, don't you. Well, if you are going to think you are onto something new, you are really behind in times. In case you missed it, the left has already compared George W. Bush to Hitler. Here, here are just a few examples:

Now, you want to start comparing Republicans to Nazi, Germany and Hitler. Unfortunately, your idiocy has gotten the best of you. If you are going to accuse Republicans of being Nazis, you should really know what you are talking about before you come off looking like the idiot you truly are.

"Alles muss anders sein", translated from German to English means Everything must be different(Hint: Change! In 5 Days we will fundamentally change America). Everything must be different was a slogan of the Nazi Party, kinda like Hope and Change. This is the heart's desire of every leftist since Karl Marx. Nazism was a deeply revolutionary creed, a fact ferociously denied by left. Hitler and his thugs hated the rich, capitalists, Jews Christianity and "the system"

Oh, and how about I quote Hitler himself:

"We are socialists, we are the enemies of today's capitalistic economic system for the exploitation of the economically weak, with its unfair salaries, with its unseemly evaluation of a human being according to wealth and property instead of responsibility and performance; and we are all determined to destroy this system under all conditions" -- Adolf Hiter - May 1, 1927

If you are going to try and compare Republicans to Nazi, Germany, you really need to get an education. Republicans are for capitalism, Hitler and the Nazis were against it, just like Obama and the Democrat party. You do know that Nazi means National Socialism, right???

Perhaps we should all, for once, enjoy the freedom to call our fellow Americans traitorous nazis all the time and mean it.

The left has falsely been doing this to anyone who disagrees with them since long before I was ever even born. You are behind in times.

We could go happily from thread to thread carelessly flinging accusations of Nazism willy-nilly to our fellow citizens for nothing more than the sin of disagreeing with us.

Again, your side already does this to anyone who disagrees with you.

Think of it, no need to worry about nuance or complexity anymore

Oooh, big words coming from you. Too bad you have the complexity of a turd in a toilet.

It's going to be so freeing to finally call people Nazis for their every political thought and comment.

Do you have the ability to actually post something different instead of constantly repeating yourself? Again, and I do mean AGAIN...your side has been accusing people who disagree with as being Nazis for a very long time.

The right has shown us what it means to have the freedom to turn political discourse into a race to the bottom,

Really, it is not the Libertarians or Republicans who are dividing this nation through class warefare, racial divide, gender divide and dividing America with scaremongering tactics. That is all your side has since everything you have done has been an abject failure.

thank all those Nazis, for having the guts to break the final civility barrier

If the left was actually civil, they would deseve civility.

by closing ranks behind the idea that it is OK to group the left directly with the worst nation state that left wing politics ever produced.

Oh, like the left has grouped anyone to the right of Karl Marx a Nazi??

Death to politically correct nazi double standards.

Death to the bottle of Jameson I just finished off while reading your crap, it is the only thing that made me waste my time replying to an ignorant fool like you.

Call me a communist

While I don't use much profanity, a more appropriate name to call you would be dumbshit.

I call you a Nazi

you fascist nazi pig!!!

So no one is willing to give up the communist card for the right to act indignant when getting called a Nazi? Anyone? Is it Ok for me to redefine "Nazism" to mean "greater than average level of conservatism"? I know it is not the same thing but it is so much easier when I can lump you people into one group.

you act like both sides don't do it. In a way it's good. We have to be sensitive to fascism, because there's a danger of history repeating itself.

We should be sensitive to fascism and never entertain the crappy notion the the right is somehow not capable of tyranny and that every bad thing that has ever happened in the history of human governance is commie liberalism in one form or another.

This guy is an embarrassment and a disgrace to the Cohen name..

The funny thing about this thread is that Obamas economic policies mirror those of Benito Mussolini.

Obama picked major capitalist entities like AIG, GE, Goldman Sacs, GM, and yes, Solyndra, to feed money to, and adopt and finance private risk.

Benito did the same thing.

Obama is a Fascisti....

LMAO
