Why do some USMB Republicans say it's Democrats who don't believe in "evolution"?

And these right wingers scream at me when I point out their party's hatred of science.

Loved the way Santorum went after "smart" people in his speech. It was really quite funny.

Contrary to what you think, Rtard, science and religion can co-exist.
I survive every day just fine

So you're saying magical creation should be taught in school as an alternative to science?

It looks like he is saying the same thing I have been saying, Deanie-do. Your assumption that having faith and having knowledge are mutually exclusive is, for lack of a better word, retarded.

Derp, derp.

We just need to make that clear. The majority of Republicans do not believe in evolution.

Evolution is not a science that stands by itself.

It's a "scientific theory" that is backed up by:

Geology
Plate Tectonics
Astronomy
Genetics
Paleontology
and many other fields of science

Evolution Science Teaching Products - NSTA Evolution Resources

And still, right wingers on this board question "evolution". I don't get it. I seriously don't.
I do it's called MADNESS tl

Rightwingnuts seem to be impervious to the ideas of science. PC cannot even understand the differance between what theory means in layman's terms, and what theory means in scientific terms.

So you're saying magical creation should be taught in school as an alternative to science?

Call it Complexity of Design or Intelligent Design.
Why can't more than one idea be floated for people to draw their own conclusion?
What are you so afraid of?

If there is physical evidence for "magical creation", then yes, teach it.

So, what's the evidence? Because there is plenty for evolution.

That doesn't make them contradictory.

Where's the evidence of cross-specie evolution?

I believe that we were created, but have seen certain mutations, or micro-evolution, through the ages.
Evidence of that is easy to see.

Evidence of macro-evolution? Not so much
