Why Do Republicans Prefer A Pedophile To A Democrat? A Short History Of Demonization

When I was in High School, back in the 80's it was hard to get a date unless you were 20+, had a car, and provided drugs for the date. That's just the way things were. There were 30 year olds we made fun of making moves on High School girls. It was common to happen. My friend across the street was 16 and she was dating a 45 year old drug dealer. It's what they did then. Times change. History doesn't.

My thread got redirected from Politics forum to The Rubber Room forum. My thread is on lefties pushing pedophilia to be considered a victimless crime and non-criminal act. But this thread is ok??

The Deep South is severely fucked up.

Which lefties say pedophilia is a victimless crime?
My problem is with people calling any sex with a minor pedophilia when it's not.

Should the perverts check to see if they have reached puberty before molesting them?

I have a thread that got redirected to The Rubber Room. I seen someone talking about ANTIFA and other politics so I did a little research with google and bing and came across a bunch of articles about it.

This thread is not in the Rubber room. I don't understand why you made that comment in reply to mine.

I know this is in Politics forum. I'm saying I created a thread originally in this forum, Politics forum, And USMB redirected it and moved it to the Rubber Room forum. And my thread is on lefties and pedophilia, so I'm guessing USMB felt it wasn't appropriate for the politics forum.
You responded to my comment, asking which lefties say pedophilia is a victimless crime. So I responded saying that my thread is now in the rubber room forum

If Roy Moore were a Democrat, all else being equal, 99% of conservatives would be assuming the accusations against him were true,
and 99% of them would be demanding he get out of the race, and would be excoriating anyone who defended him.

That should be the starting point for every discussion of this topic.
If he was a Democrat this story wouldn't even exist.

A troll thread representative of just how stupid Democrats are now. If they can't do better this sort of idiocy, why don't they just hang out somewhere their peer group's level of intellect and emotional maturity is close to their own, like the Lindsay Lohan Fan forum, or the NAMBLA forums? Why litter message boards with mindless drivel?

Well, either way, the GOP is screwed if Moore doesn't drop out.

If he does drop out, the Democrats will win the seat.

If by some chance he does manage to win, he's going to tie up Congress with debates about whether or not they should kick him out. If that happens, tax reform and all the other things they want to get passed are going to be put on the back burner. Several GOP leaders have already said that is what they would do if he was elected.

And then, there is the other possibility that Sessions will be re appointed back to his seat and someone else will be put in his job. Trump is already pissed that Sessions recused himself from the Russia investigation and would like to replace him.

My guess? They are probably going to go with the Sessions reappointment.

Sessions has not indicated that he would even go for that. I find that as an unlikely outcome. TBH, the right is actually better off if he wins and they unseat him. Alabama is going to be pissed but in the end the right NEEDS those seats - the house is find but in the senate they simply do not have the numbers to pass anything of merit. The right is to divided between the base and the moderates.

But like I said, there are a LOT of Senators who have said they will move to expel Moore if he's elected. If they do that, then ACA repeal and the tax plan will hit the back burner, and if it's delayed too long, it could have negative repercussions on the vote in 2018.

Expel him for what? He hasn't done anything.

They are saying that because of these accusations, Moore has no business being in the Senate because he shows a lack of moral fiber, and they want to expel him as soon as he's elected.

GOP leaders threaten to expel Roy Moore from Senate if he wins Alabama race

The accusations against Moore have thrown the GOP into a crisis, splintering the party and risking defeat in the Dec. 12 special election, for which polls show Democrat Doug Jones now has a narrow lead in the Deep South state.

On Monday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) called on Moore to withdraw from the race. The head of the Republican campaign committee, Sen. Cory Gardner (R-Colo.), said the Senate should vote to expel Moore if he is elected by Alabama voters.

“I believe the women,” McConnell told reporters Monday in Kentucky. “I think he should step aside.”

People are appalled Republicans are sticking with accused pedophile Roy Moore, just as they were appalled they voted for admitted molester Donald Trump.

How did the Democratic Party become so toxic to these voters?

The answer?

40 years of relentless demonization of Democrats and liberals, with race at its heart.

Jen Sorenson’s cartoon above tells the story in three panels. (The fourth is the punchline.) Below is a slightly longer version.

  • Ronald Reagan began it with coded racism — Philadelphia MS and welfare queens — Democrats are the party of “those people.”
  • The “nice” Bush, HW — 41 — jump-started it in 1988 with the advice of Lee Atwater: “You can’t say the n-word, so say your taxes are going to ‘those people.’”
  • Frank Luntz and Newt Gingrich stirred Atwater’s pot with their “campaign in a box,” telling Republicans always to call Democrats key words like “corrupt," "devour," "greed," "hypocrisy," "liberal," "sick," and "traitor.”
  • At the heart of the 8 year jihad against Bill Clinton were Arkansas racists who allied with the more genteel Federalist Society “elves,” who included Kelly-Anne Conway’s husband. Bill Clinton was the late-term-abortion baby-killer champion of “those people,” despite Sister Souljah and welfare reform.
  • The Bush campaign (with generous help from Maureen Dowd and her gang of Beltway Heathers) added mockery to demonization, making Al Gore into a caricature of a lying, arrogant braggart.
  • 9/11 and the drive to war in Iraq added the “treason” element, as ultimately-correct war opposition was made into aiding and abetting Osama.
  • For one election cycle, 2008, the near great depression overcame racism and demonization to elect Barack Obama.
  • But immediately afterward, the “Tea Party” — just a new branding of the old Republican coded racism and demonization — fueled the recurrence and metastacizing of the cancers of racism, nativism and demonization.
  • Added to this were appeals to the insecurity of the base — “Those condescending coastal elites want to force death panels and socialism down your throat. They’re laughing at you at their fancy colleges in the East and West.”
  • In 2016, the Republican cauldron was boiling over with these poisons plus toxic misogyny, and elected the perfect Republican candidate to stir the evil mixture with outright criminal accusations by a criminal candidate.
In 2017, any Democrat is treasonous, corrupt, favors open-borders, wants to give your taxes to minorities, lies, condescends and (gasp) may be an email-using woman.

Ol’ Roy may be a pedophile, but at least he’s not a Democrat.

I though all you douchebags said the voters of Alabama should deside. Now you're saying they don't get a choice no matter what.

You do realize that most Republicans, including Trump, have asked Moore to step down, yet he won and it is his decision.

You do also realize Demorats prefer corrupt crack smokers (Mayor Berry), 9/11 Troofers part of vile racist groups that are the equivalent of the KKK (Keith Ellison and Andre Carson), extremist anti-Americans who admit on record they care only about the plight of illegal immigrants and not about US citizens, because this country is not our’s it is their’s (Luis Gutierrez), Black Guys who were on trial for corruption and bribery who went to jail shortly after being elected (Jesse Jackson Jr & Derrick Smith) and of course the grand daddy of sexual harassment and assault Bill “Slick Willy” Clinton.

Hypocrisy at it’s finest.

I personally believe the stories and I am appalled by them. I hope Moore steps down and let’s someone like Strange take over. But if he remains in the race, I hope he wins. Even he would be better than a Socialist from the Democratic Party.

Hey, I'm not saying how anything should be decided. I'm simply reporting on what GOP leaders are saying and they are in favor of expelling him as soon as he's elected if he wins the election.

If you want to bitch at someone, bitch at the Senate.

Let's get something straight, motherfuckers. I hate the GOP. It's full of freedom-hating Jesus Nazis and self/special-interest whores.

That said, a baby-murdering terrorist is preferable to a democrat.

Democrats are commies. Commies deserve to die.
