But let's go through this as though it's a real article deserving of some sort of dignity, and as though you are a real person deserving of some sort of dignity.

1) Military - not socialism

2) Highways and roads - not socialism

3) Libraries - not socialism

4) Police - not socialism

5) Fire departments - not socialism

6) Postal service - not socialism

7) Student loans and grants - not really socialism, but at least one thing which isn't properly the purview of our government . . . and also handled better by the private sector

8) Bridges - not socialism

9) Garbage collection - not socialism, and also frequently not handled by government. If you didn't live in ghettos, you would know that garbage collection is very often handled by private companies, and paid for by the customers

10) Public landfills - not socialism

11) War - falls under the heading of military; not socialism, and also making it apparent that the only way the bullshitting asshats who think for you don't have a case, since they have to pad their own list of lies with repetitions

12) Farm subsidies - not appropriately the job of the government, true, but also not socialism . . . unless the government is actually buying and running farms

13) CIA - not socialism

14) FBI - also not socialism

15) Congressional healthcare - how is providing health insurance for employees - and Congressmembers ARE government employees - socialism?

16) Polio vaccine - not socialism. Please note that 1) even DailyKrap isn't trying to say that the government developed the vaccine, and 2) Salk, a private individual, CHOSE to give his discovery to the government for distribution. As always, you fail on the most basic level of not understanding words.

17) EPA - shitty department of government, but not socialism

18) Social Security - shitty department of government, and definitely not the government's job, but not socialism

19) Museums - not socialism, and usually done better by private industry

20) Public schools - execrable government institutions, and done far better by private industry, but not socialism

21) Jails/Prison - not socialism, and often done better by private industry

22) Business subsidies - sometimes good, sometimes bad, but not socialism . . . unless the government is taking control of them

23) VA - not socialism, and a shining example of why government control of virtually anything is a bad plan. THIS is your example making life BETTER?

24) Public parks - not socialism

25) Elected officials - not socialism, and certainly not making anyone's life better

I think we see a pattern here. Not a single thing your thought messiahs listed is an example of socialism, and most of them are not examples of making anyone's life better.
