Why do people continue to believe in Feminism?

Why do people continue to believe in Feminism and think its for equality and its social and politcal views, when it obviously come at the cost of destroying the two genders rather then any perceived inequalities? The Feminists pass laws like VAWA that are extremely harmful to men and boys also being a victim and blaming your own troubles and inadequacies on other people doesn't seem at all empowering to me.

Sorry but women's compensation in the workforce is now approaching that of men's. I'm not sure how two genders got destroyed that way. My wife and I live very comfortably with both of our incomes.

I'm not sure how VAWA is harmful to men and boys, maybe you can elaborate? Whatever other issues you have with women would also be best to mention.

I don't hate women, i simply believe in equality for both sexes and Modern Feminism has shown itself to be opposition to this ideal every step of the way.
