ignore the Fed? I mean can you name a bigger, more powerful, more secretive corporation that has unbridled influence on us than the Federal Reserve? And yet, nothing.

I don't understand the Fed.

I am distrustful of corporations because they exist to make money - NOT to protect people, the environment, or any particular set of values.

Is this true of the Fed? If so I distruct them as well.

Well, there are two problems with your post.

1. Liberals don't "hate" big corporations.

2. Many liberals do not support the Fed, including myself.

1. You are in denial here.

2. Then maybe you guys should vocalize it more.

Why to right wingers believe they should turn their lives over to big companies?

1. I love it when Conservatives try to tell me what Liberals "really believe".

2. Why?

Government exists to protect the interests of those who control it.

Exactly why I think elections should not be backed by corporate interests - I am tlaking the electronic machines here as well as the financing.

Do you know how and why the Federal Reserve Act came about? Do you know about the 1907 Bankers' Panic?

Ideology without knowledge is dogma.

Nothing turns out to be so oppressive and unjust as a feeble government.

I agree with you.

I love the US Government because it has gone to Waco, TX, Baghdad, AfPak and points beyond to protect people, the environment,

By the way Corporations are creatures of the almighty state.
