Why do democrats want more people on foodstamps and welfare

Good, you agree that employers are not responsible, so we won't be seeing you try to claim that employers should be compelled to subsidize welfare by being forced to pay wages higher than what the job is worth?
The People have a general welfare clause.

Then The People should be able to get welfare legislation passed, right?
Let's put it this way, common offense and general warfare spending has to be cut before general welfare spending.

Congress decides what gets spent and what gets cut.
Congress is delegated the the power to tax, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States.

We've made progress. At least you're no longer trying to say that employers are legally required to subsidize welfare.

That is what I mean; it costs more because of the "creative endeavors" employed.

Good for you, you are blowing smoke and you won't do a damn thing other than to sit on this board and cry to others that you are a victim.
We have a Constitution and a Commerce clause.

And now go prove it cupcake and quit being the victim, take it to court, go do it, if you are as right as you claim you are this is a slam dunk for you.
You have no competing solutions, only more socialism on a national basis.

The right wing is for more, socialized government and don't want to pay for it.

Poor guy, you don't have a solution either, otherwise you would be working on it instead of crying here.
You don't have a good argument, can your legislator be any better?

Income taxes do that

It is not the employer's responsibility to make sure you have an arbitrary standard of living. I'm pounding that home because I have a high degree of certainty you'll soon start spouting your failed lines again. When you do, I'll remind you of this.

LOL! I am done arguing, time for action on your part, apparently you don't have much confidence in your own argument because you haven't done a damn thing to push your idea ahead.

A fifteen dollar an hour minimum wage will do.

Isn't it better for Americans to have jobs and self respect?

Democratic Party on Welfare & Poverty
This is one reason I’m glad republicans are in charge. I believe they will crack down and cut down on all the social services we give to the poor. Free Obamacare, food stamps, welfare. Have republicans done any cuts to these things yet? Or made people work for welfare or drug testing?

We've been over this before too. You don't want a wage, you want welfare.

People strike all the time for higher wages, danny needs to go outside the unemployment office and picket them for higher unemployment wages! Not sure his interpretation of the Constitution will cause the unemployment office to change their minds, however they will get a good laugh out of it.
