Why didn't Romney talk about Afghanistan?

On Fox, they said Romney was the first presidential nominee since 1952 that didn't talk about a war America was currently involved in. Curious.

Why was that? Is it possible it would have brought up the debacle in Iraq or the fact Republicans let Bin Laden go and pretty much ignored al Qaeda while attempting to annex Iraqi oil?

Or would it have made Americans realize that it was Obama that took out Bin Laden and pretty much decimated al Qaeda. When you point out one failure, you point out all of them.

Was Mitt smart to skip Afghanistan or does it tell us how he will treat veterans if he becomes president.

Why didn't Romney talk about Afghanistan?

quit beating around the "Bush" Dean and just tell us....im sure you know why and are dying to lay it on us...so go for it.....

John Kerry gave a hilarious speech about Mitt Romney.

Romney can't debate Obama until he stops debating himself.

I already said it:

Republicans always try to portray themselves as "strong on defense" and "masters of foreign policy". Under Bush, Republicans got thousands of Americans killed for no good reason, let Bin Laden go, tens of thousands of Americans maimed and threw away trillions of dollars while hoping for an "oil payday" that never came. Folly and disaster rolled into one big mess they handed to Obama. And now, like the poster above, they say Obama "owns" it. Once again, attempting to dodge any responsibility.

A little while ago in his convention speech, John Kerry said "Before he (Romney) debates the president on Afghanistan, he had better finish debating himself". Meaning he is all over the place on Afghanistan, contradicting himself.

Why didn't Romney talk about Afghanistan?

Because he's a heartless, soulless, racist, lying, crazy Mormon who takes pleasure in firing people, seeing people suffer and wants to enslave and rape women.

Amiright?

Because our problems are domestic, not foreign.

Tell that to the American soldiers stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Funny, I could have sworn Obama was claiming credit for getting us out of Iraq.

And quite frankly, i dont see the point of us being in Afghanistan either. But hey, if you want to talk about more of Obama's broken promises...

John Kerry's never had a problem lying before, has he?

What did you want Mitt to say? Did you want him to point out that since Obama announced a timetable in Afghanistan that the saying there is, "The Americans have a watch but Al Qaeda has the time"? Did you want him to point out that our troops are now target practice for those that they're supposed to train. Things like that?

He could have thanked them for their service. Course, Mitt probably doesn't thank the "little people". No, he fires them.
