    was pardoned after a shorttimeofhouse arrest....................

    At the time according to Wiki 79% of Americans believed the verdict to be unjust and 81% felt that the sentence was unjust. Nixon merely responded to the wishes of the public.

    I'd never forgive the sicko. Bad move on Nixon's part. But, the country was torn over the war.
