Why did Democrats fight so hard against Civil right legislation?

Democrats keep saying that they are the diversity party but if you can read a history book, you know that no one fought harder against freeing the slaves, civil rights legislation and current prosperity of african americans than the Democrat party, so I ask, because i am here to learn, why do democrats hate black people with all their heart and soul, creating institutions like planned parenthood to kill black people at will with government tax payer funding, destroying the black family and leaving them poor and destitute?

The Democrats back then jumped ship from the party after LBJ pushed the Civil Rights Act of 1965. To them, segregation was more important than party. Those left are no longer Democrats...guess what party they are part of now.

It's karma in process of working itself out, both spiritually in healing and politically in reforms.
For everything unjust that occurs, this causes future repercussions.
At some point the cycle breaks, but a lot of interesting stuff happens in the meantime

NOTE: I live in Freedmen's Town a national african american district of freed slave, civil rights, and church history that was all but destroyed under democratic party leadership. in fact I joined the democratic party to work with local community leaders to address and correct the issues and restitution for debts and damages. it has been one heckuva roller coaster ride. i have no idea if we are going to succeed or fail, but trying to make peace and rebuild relationships after centuries of injustice and injury one long spiritual process!
