Why can't liberals find a way to create wealth without taking from successfull?

Something I can never understand unless I go into my own theory, which I will not do in this thread at least.
Liberals seem to be OK with printing more money, continnuing with the debt, spending etc.
DISCLAIMER: I am not rich by any means, nor am I kissing up to them, I hate the likes of Romney no less then anyone else on this earth, so do not be judgemental.
Simple question really: what if there was a zapper which would zap liberals any time they tried to get their hands on rich/other people's money, and they would have no choice but to leave them rich alone. explain the scenario of what would happen to our nation? how could we go on? etc...

The vast majority of scientists and engineers are liberal or at least liberal leaning. That's where a lot of wealth is created. The people who build cars, buildings, planes, etc are also usually liberal and they also create. It's the cons who generally end up as wasted space in administration jobs and/or who got where they are through cronyism.

Maybe small business owners (who I do feel create wealth) tend to be conservative. Who's your idea of a top-notch conservative wealth creator?

Maybe if there were a more equitable wealth distribution in this country, those at the bottom could pay more in federal taxes. Walmart heirs have more wealth than the bottom 30% of Americans. Is it because this handful of heirs work harder than 30 million of the rest of us? If the imbalance of wealth increases in a decade to say walmart heirs will have more than 35 million people on the bottom, then its because the heirs worked that much harder and those on the bottom slacked off?

Progressive taxation and entitlement handouts to those who pay nothing in federal income tax

So you want equalized outcome regardless of achievement... got it

Idiot

You are looking at the outcome right now, an economy where they can screw things up to an astonishing degree and have the power to make the rabble to bail them out. They are immune from the consequences of their actions, now that's luxury.
I didn't ask you that.

What is in it for the rich to screw up the economy?...What do they get out of the deal?...If they indeed have sucked all the money out of the economy, why do they need a bailout?

Do you think past your nose when you post any of your knee-jerk covetousness and hate?

You can shove that wealth envy crap up your ass, sideways. The end result of all this is that the 1% has ended up with an even larger share of the nation's wealth, two parties filled with shameless suck-ups and a populace that will settle for less than ever, from their point of view business has never been better.
I didn't ask you that....See if you can get past your completely irrational hatred of people who have more than you do, to read for 4th-grade comprehension.

What do the wealthy get -other than "more money"- from all this hoarding you accuse them of?....What is their outcome?....What is their end game?

And just what is the outcome of all this "sucking money out of the economy and hoarding it"?..What's in it for the wealthy?

It's not in their best interest to screw up the economy yet they can't seem to help it. Short term thinking and rabid self-interest now rule the day. And if the republicans have their way, whatever stabilizing elements of our economy will be eliminated in the interest of serving the " free market".

And who got bailed out? I didn't. Now look at the rich, not taking responsibilty for their actions and getting taxpayer monies to help them, at historic low interest. they shure got it tough. poor rich people.

That has to be some of the most convoluted "logic" I've seen around here in some time...And that's saying something.

Wow.

I already answered your question, and the answer is power. You seem to see only a group of essentially honest private citizens, I see the true political power in this country who own one-and-a-half political parties that serve their needs at the expense of the rest of us, they have power over us and no one to hold them accountable. If we cannot even tax them into contributing to the country they worked so hard to own and control we have lost, welcome to feudalism American style.

Book: It's Getting Better All The Time.

Published by the Cato Institute. Not exactly a bastion of liberals.

How has the United States changed over the past century? Is life truly better now than it was in the past? Using statistical reports and other historical materials, Moore (fiscal policy studies, Cato Inst.) and the late Simon (business administration, Univ. of Maryland) argue that for the most part people entering the new millennium are much better off than their parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. The areas covered include health, economics, race relations, safety, environmental issues, and women's rights. A number of charts and graphs, well complemented by an extensive index and a bibliography, shows the positive changes that have taken place over the past 100 years. Readers will appreciate the information provided by these colorful graphics, which readily allow for additional research on subjects of interest. Recommended for reference, general social science, and American studies collections.DDanna Bell-Russel, Library of Congress

They estimate the poverty level in the US in the late 1800s was 40 to 50 percent.

Huh?

I hate to break it to you, old bean, but US Bank and Wells Fargo were forced to take bailouts.

And it still fails to answer a question that seems very simple to understand:

What is in it for the rich to (allegedly) hoard all the money?

[...] Simple question really: what if there was a zapper which would zap liberals any time they tried to get their hands on rich/other people's money[...]
Please supply a specific example of Liberals trying to get their hands on other people's money.

Barack Obama is attempting to raise taxes on everyone earning over $250,000 as we speak. He even made the batshit crazy statement, "The money we’re spending on these tax cuts for the wealthy is a major contributor to our deficit."

Something I can never understand unless I go into my own theory, which I will not do in this thread at least.

Answer your own question with this....

Why do CONservatives demonize labor unions that fight for decent working conditions and fair WAGES for the people who bust their asses making money for corporations and even smaller companies?

Why do wealthy people (like Mitt Romney) like to outsource American jobs to manufacturers overseas where labor is cheap rather than keep the jobs here where they actually have to PAY people a wage they can live on?

Why do banks refuse to lend money to the people who need it most? I mean, that's a no-brainer but it does go to the heart of your question.

Why do CONservatives scream bloody murder everytime the subject of raising the minimum wage comes up? For that matter WHY isn't the minimum wage at least above the poverty level for those making it? I mean....isn't that the American dream? If you're willing to apply yourself in this great country of ours and work.....you're SUPPOSED to have a shot at success right?

Not true though. For many, many Americans (quickly becoming the majority) what's the point of trying to hold a job if it means loosing whatever meager government assistance you had? Now you're out of government housing and you have to pay REAL rent....and buy food....and keep the utilities on....and pay for daycare....and keep gas in the car in order to get to the job (hooray!) that doesn't even pay you enough to do ANY of these things!

So don't approach the issue by asking why the "have nots" want to take from the "haves" OK? Ask yourself what's wrong with America that it is full of so many "have nots" in the first place.

CONservatives have a dangerous tendency to try to reduce complex issues to simple soundbytes. They'll say it's all about "personal choice" and individual "laziness" but it's not.

You see, they LOVE to flap their jowls about how everybody in America has the SAME opportunities for success and it's just "up to them" what they do with it.

So on one hand they pay lip servicice to this nebulous concept of some kind of "equality" in America.

Yet, let someone (like Obama) come along and start rocking the boat with talk about ACTUALLY CHANGING the systems in America that keep many people down and leveling the playing field and what do we hear?

"SOCIALISM!" "COMMUNISM!" "CLASS WARFARE!" "STEALING FROM THE RICH AND GIVING TO THE POOR'" ect!

See, the answer to your question is simple. The wealthy 2% in America didn't get wealthy playing on a level playing field. They NEED these disparities to maintain their wealth and power and it's a visious cycle. They use that wealth and power to MAKE SURE there will always be an underclass to make them MORE wealth and power!!!!

Hope that helps answer your question.

Oh, so it's all a giant conspiracy, that only the wealthy get let in on...Kinda like a big country club....I get it now.

Dismissed....Oh, and here's a nice parting gift:

Say exactly why the rich do not wield enormous unaccountable political power or STFU.

why do white people continue to display racism to deny equal rights to minorities so they have chance to succeed.

Because "the rich" aren't a monolith....You're making gross over-generalizations about and objectifying an entire group of people over the actions of a few.

Most of us know this as "bigotry".

Here's an idea...Replace "the rich" with "*******" in your little tirades and see how that all shakes out.

Why do CONservatives demonize labor unions that fight for decent working conditions and fair WAGES for the people who bust their asses making money for corporations and even smaller companies?

Why did labor unions get a special ObamaCare tax cut given to them by Obama and the Democrats?

Why do wealthy people (like Mitt Romney) like to outsource American jobs to manufacturers overseas where labor is cheap rather than keep the jobs here where they actually have to PAY people a wage they can live on?

So you can go into a department story and come out with a pair of shoes, a toothbrush, and an MP3 player for less than $100.

And what's the matter, you don't like little brown people overseas earning money to live on?

Why do banks refuse to lend money to the people who need it most? I mean, that's a no-brainer but it does go to the heart of your question.

Banks are making low risk loans to the US Government instead. It is less risky to loan to a bloated US Government than it is to loan money to you to buy a house. And as long as the US Government is spending like a drunken sailor, this will continue.

The banks are making massive carry trades. The US Government loans them money at low, low, low rates, and then they turn around and loan it back to the government at a slightly higher rate.

No, really!
